Friday on Capitol Hill, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said “most of us” do not believe FBI special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation was a “witch hunt or a hoax.”
Graham said. “I think most of us believe it is not a witch hunt or a hoax and that the FBI director and all others believe this is a legitimate concern. What role the Russians had —have played in your elections. You know, look at Democrats and Republicans and see what happens. I like General Flynn. He served our country for a long time with honor and effectiveness. It’s a sad day, but this is the way the system works.”
He added, “Mueller has a mandate. He seems to be fulfilling that mandate.”
