Uma Thurman Blasts Harvey Weinstein: ‘You Don’t Deserve a Bullet’
Actress Uma Thurman had a Thanksgiving Day message for disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein, “You don’t deserve a bullet.”
Earlier this month, an obviously seething Thurman said she was not ready to discuss Weinstein, the man who produced seven of her films, including Pulp Fiction, Beautiful Girls and Kill Bill 1 and 2.
“I’ve been waiting to be less angry,” she told Access Hollywood.
On Thursday, she appeared to be at least a little more ready to discuss the matter. On her Instagram account, the Oscar-nominated actress in part wrote:
I said I was angry recently, and I have a few reasons, #metoo, in case you couldn’t tell by the look on my face.
I feel it’s important to take your time, be fair, be exact, so… Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! (Except you Harvey, and all your wicked conspirators – I’m glad it’s going slowly – you don’t deserve a bullet) -stay tuned
Presently, around 100 women have come forward to accuse Weinstein of everything from rape, groping, bullying, forcing them to watch him masturbate, and harassment. Police departments in Los Angeles, New York, and Europe have reportedly opened investigations into the Miramax founders alleged crimes. For more than 20 years, Weinstein was the most powerful person in Hollywood, a multiple-Oscar winner, a man actress Meryl Streep just five years ago declared as her “god.”
