45,000 People Take To The Streets Of Brussels To Support Nationalism. Pope Francis Says That This Will Only Lead To Chaos In Europe
By Theodore Shoebat
Around 45,000 people took to the streets of Brussels, supporting Catalonian nationalism and demanding for Catalonian independence from Spain. As we read in a report from the Independent:
Around 45,000 protesters have taken to the streets outside EU institutions in Brussels in support of Catalan independence.
The demonstration is partly in solidarity with exiled and disputed president Carles Puigdemont, who has himself fled to the EU capital in Belgium and is resisting extradition attempts.
But the Thursday march is also aimed at putting pressure on EU institutions to support the region’s cause – support which has so far been totally absent.
Police figures suggest the protest was over twice as large as expected, with official predictions before the march that just 20,000 demonstrators would show up.
In the grey and damp Belgian weather, demonstrators carried Catalan flags, sang songs, and chanted “Wake up Europe”. Others carried banners with EU flags emblazoned with “Shame on you” – a criticism of the EU’s support for the government in Madrid.
Some locals who joined the march also carried the yellow lion rampant flags of Flanders, the wealthy Dutch-speaking region of Belgium. Flanders, like Catalonia, has a separatist movement and its separatist parties are allies at the European level with Catalonia’s.
That alliance led to one Flemish immigration minister suggesting Mr Puigdemont could apply for asylum in Belgium – though he has not formally taken up the offer.
Look at whats happening here: Flemish nationalists were backing this demonstration. This is very telling, given the fact that the Flemish nationalists are simply backing Catalonian separatism to further legitimize their separatist movement. But the ultimate goal goes beyond the superficial slogans of “freedom,” it is of a very sinister nature, and that is to break down Europe into regions, destabilize the region and spark old hatreds between Europeans. If you fragment Europe, you fragment the status quo, and all incentives to maintain peace will be gone, and a new era of warfare will arise.
It is not coincidental that the organizer of this rally is the New Flemish Alliance, the biggest party in Belgium and one of the biggest parties in the European Parliament. A party with such political leverage, protecting Catalonian separatists, is a dead giveaway of a major conspiracy. Ask yourself, if this whole movement is just about helping Catalonia, then why are the Flemish involved? Why is the biggest party in Belgium working with so much effort to protect the Catalonian rebel leaders and advance their cause? Its because Catalonian independence is not the objective, but a means to a diabolical end, and this end is to foment chaos and violence.
Moreover, the rally is taking place in Brussels, the capital center of the European Union, the home of the European Parliament. Again, that such a huge very well organized rally is taking place at the center of the European Union, organized by a Flemish separatist party — the New Flemish Alliance, a party that has Nazi ties — the biggest party in Belgium, one of the biggest parties in the EU Parliament, is very revealing that a conspiracy is being done. Its a big dead giveaway.
Brussels is also the same place where the Counterjihad movement was organized, back in 2007 in the European Parliament, where it was directed by Filip DeWinter of the Vlaams Belang party — another Flemish separatist party. The Counterjihad Brussels Summit was financed by the Center for Security Policy which, as we have shown extensively, is a CIA backed right-wing think tank that pushes for arming Muslim terrorists while, at the same time, advances an anti-immigrant agenda, using both sides, encouraging the first to attack, and the latter — the eugenists — to provide the Social Darwinist tyranny as the solution.
The plan of destabilization can be seen beginning in the Balkans in the 1990s, when Slovenia separated from Yugoslavia. This encouraged other regions in Yugoslavia — Albania, Croatia, and Bosnia — to sever themselves from Yugoslavia and conflict erupted and took place in the whole decade of the 1990s. The CIA, as we learn from former CIA agent Robert Baer, was behind exploiting tensions between Serbs and Bosnians, to get them to kill each other. As Baer said in an interview: “There was one overall task and that was to incite hatred and nationalism through television and for differences between the people to really stand out.”
This plan was in accordance to the Gladio operation of NATO that began in the late 1940s, in which Nazi leaders of the Third Reich, and neo-nazis, and nationalists, were recruited from Western Europe, Greece and Turkey, to create a paramilitary army (called “stay-behinds”), to supposedly defend against a Soviet nation. The Gladio stay-behinds would do terrorist attacks on civilians, to then have it blamed on left wing groups in order to stir up nationalism amongst the populists. I would not doubt that the so-called migration crises is another engineered plan to foment nationalism in Europe.
Gladio was, as they say, disbanded in 1990 (not surprisingly the same year information about it was leaked to the public), but, it looks like the plan continued on and manifested in the Balkans in the 1990s, with German and American operatives backing Albanian Muslim nationalists and others, to fight against Yugoslavia. I did a whole documentary on this:
Who was in Slovenia when it declared independence from Yugoslavia in 1991? Carles Puigdemont, the very leader of the Catalan separatist movement. He was observing and learning from the Slovenians on the art of separatism, and followed their strategy very closely.
Like the Slovenians, Puigdemont declared Catalonian independence, and then rescinded it, and then said that he wanted to negotiate independence. The plan worked for the Slovenians, but we shall see if it will work for the Catalonians. If the Catalonian movement continues to thrive, and it escalates to bloodlust, it will cause a ripple effect in Europe, bringing in a conflagration of bloodshed and genocide. Revolution stirs more revolution, violence more violence.
There is a movement — and this includes the Flemish separatists — that uses the migration situation in Europe to instigate the mob to be stirred for nationalism, and such demonic forces are only bringing Europe back to the devils of the past, that old serpent that brings humanity to a bloodbath.
Nationalism is rising up, and these events in Europe are reflections of this. In 2014, when Pope Francis was asked, “Does the conflict between Catalonia and Spain worry you?” He said: “Every division worries me”. Every division should worry us all. When a fence is seen, there is a reason why some one put it up, and to tear a fence down for no reason is not prudence, it is madness. But this is what we have ruling the earth: madness.
But you will have people — mad people — who argue and say, that because the Catalonian people, for the most part, want independence from Spain, they should get what they desire. In other words, the mob rules. They will say that this is “democracy,” and “reason,” but such people who yammer this talk are, in the words of Chesterton, “ascending the house of reason, a thing more hideous than unreason itself.”
European parliamentarian Mark Demesmaeker, Federal parliamentarian Peter Luyckx, and Jan Van Esbroeck, member of the Flemish Parliament, — all three of these men are members of the separatist New Flemish Alliance — released a statement that said: “Today we are all Catalans …. We are joining in their peaceful protest against Europe’s silence and Spanish repression.” Spanish repression? How is maintaining order in a country repression? If any region had the right to just sever itself from a country, even by just a vote, then humanity would never stop fragmenting.
Every country has the right to maintain the order of its regions, without resorting to genocide or tyranny of course. When the Catalonian atheists revolted against Spain the 1930s, they butchered thousands of priests and thousands more Catholics. And yet the nazis (and yes, thats what they are) in the Flemish nationalist movement call Spain trying to maintain order, “repression.” These Flemish nationalists want to use the EU to control Spain; in other words, they want repress and control Spain.
These Flemish nationalists want to use the EU for their own agenda, and yet at the same time they want to fragment the European Union. This is because they want to recreate Europe into their own diabolical image: a Europe, not of unity, but of conflict and bloodshed. On October, Pope Francis warned on the fragmentation of Europe, saying:
“A European Union that, in facing its crises, fails to recover a sense of being a single community that sustains and assists its members – and not just a collection of small interest groups – would miss out not only on one of the greatest challenges of its history, but also on one of the greatest opportunities for its own future … Particular and nationalist agendas risk thwarting the courageous dreams of the founders of Europe … Extremist and populist groups are finding fertile ground in many countries; they make protest the heart of their political message, without offering the alternative of a constructive political project … Sadly, all too often we see how politics is becoming instead a forum for clashes between opposing forces.”
Europe is fragmenting towards chaos and violence. But, it is a chaos that does not need to happen, and it is only happening because the powers that be are engineering the chaos.
