Major Rabbi That Pope Francis Appointed To The Pontifical Academy For Life Declares ‘The Bible Says You Can Murder Unborn Babies Conceived From Rape Or With Disabilities Because They Are Not Fully Human’

Rabbi Dr. Fishel Szlajen was appointed by Pope Francis to and made a full member of the Pontifical Academy for Life last year. In a recent statement, the Rabbi has come out and said that children who are conceived from rape or who have serious disabilities should be put to death because they are not fully human:

Rabbi Dr Fishel Szlajen, who sits on the Vatican’s Pontifical Academy for Life, has said scripture justifies abortion in cases of rape, or if the unborn child has serious disabilities.

In a largely pro-life article posted on Spanish-language site InfoBae, Dr Szlajen condemns abortion on demand, describing it as a crime that has been turned into a right. “‘The right to decide what to do with one’s own body’” manipulates and intentionally obscures the fact that we are dealing with “two distinct humans” he said.

However, he goes on to say that there is a case where scripture justifies killing the “conceptus” (the embryo in utero).

“In only one case does the Bible call for abortion: when the life of the conceptus inexorably threatens that of its mother,” he said. In such cases, the life of the mother takes priority.

Dr Szlajen justifies this position by citing the Jewish law of the “rodef”, which allows people in certain circumstances to kill someone who is endangering the lives of others.

Cases of anencephaly, irreversible degenerative pathologies and terminal disease where the “conceptus” will certainly die are examples of ‘tzorech gadol’ (grave necessity) where “abortion is permitted with severe restrictions”.

The same goes for a woman who has become pregnant through rape, and for whom continuing the pregnancy would result in “serious pschophysical danger”.

Jewish scholars have debated the “rodef” law for centuries. Some have used it to justify killing politicians or even voters they see as endangering the Jewish people. The most notorious example in recent years was Yigal Amir, who assassinated former Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin due to concessions made to the Palestinian Authority in the Oslo Accord.

Others dispute this interpretation of the law, saying it only applies when the threat to life is imminent and when the threat is spontaneous.

Dr Szlajen is not the only member of the academy to back abortion in certain circumstances.

Before he was appointed, Professor Nigel Biggar said abortion was permissible before 18 weeks, adding: “It’s not clear that a human foetus is the same kind of thing as an adult.”

Another member of the academy, Rabbi Avraham Steinberg said the unborn child has “no human status” before 40 days. After 40 days, it has “a certain status of a human being, not full status”. (source)

Catholic teaching about abortion is very clear- life begins at conception, and to willingly take means to end that life is a form of murder, which is what the rabbi is supporting.

The argument he gives- that to support abortion “in cases of rape or deformity”- are the same reasons that the supporters of infanticide have given for years as to permit for the legalization of abortion which inevitably becomes a form of birth control. This argument has been used before, and it has nothing to do with the actual good of the mother, because it has been consistently shown that most abortions are done for the sake of convenience.

Even if a woman was raped or there was a “deformity” in the child, the fact is that murder is still murder, and one does not fight evil by embracing a worse form of it. A “rape baby” is as much a human being as is one who has birth defects as is one who has no real problems or perceived problems. As the Bible notes, a man’s humanity comes from his creation in the image and likeness of God, and as such what God has made and made in His image must be protected.

It is particularly monstrous to speak of killing children with “deformities”, especially coming from a Jew, because this is exactly what Jews have persistently reminded of what happened to them not even a century ago. It was in the name of ethnonationalist paganism that Poles, Russians, Jews, and countless other people across Europe suffered and died in terrible ways, because they were labeled as “unfit” or “deformed” and so were put to death or experimented on like animals because that is how the German government saw them.

But evil such as this, that denies the human dignity of men is not limited just to Germany, Germans, the Second World War, or men who dress a certain way. The principle is what matters, for it was through darwinism and eugenics that Germany and Japan embraced the conclusions they did, and those who embrace the same ideas will find themselves inevitably in the same situation as they did.

As we have written about at Shoebat.com, there is an unholy union between the abortion industry, the pro-life movement, and the rise of a new eugenics. In short, the abortion industry is federally subsidized by the US government but also many governments throughout the world because it is a means of organ harvesting, which was first exposed by the Center for Medical Progress in 2015 with an investigation of Planned Parenthood. The chopped up body parts of dead babies are viewed as an important commodity for the bio-technical industry, which is in turn composed of a revolving door between the US and foreign militaries, weapons manufacturers, and billionaires advocating for transhumanism. All is oriented towards eugenics, which as we have reported is being experimented on with supertechnology in an attempt to create a “master race” of human beings:

‘Superior’ designer babies born into the upper class with genetically modified physical appearances and intelligence could be just years away, a British geneticist has warned, after scientists announced they had used gene editing to repair a mutation in human embryos.

In a world first, US researchers announced on Wednesday in the science journal Nature they had used the controversial gene editing technique, CRISPR-Cas9, to correct a mutation for a heart condition in embryos.

The technique could eventually let doctors remove inherited conditions from embryos before they go on to become a child. That, in turn, opens up the possibility of diseases like cystic fibrosis and ovarian cancer being wiped out entirely, researchers say.

King, who is a geneticist and molecular biologist, says only the upper echelons of society would be able to afford the expensive technology. Many will want to give their children “genetic advantages over other people’s children” and see it as an “investment” to give them “the best start in life,” he says.

“I think that in a world in which some people are regarded as genetically superior to others because they have been genetically enhanced is a radically more unequal and oppressive world than what we have now,” King says.

“I don’t think it’s unrealistic that once you’ve had a few generations of an elite being genetically enhanced and the rest of us not being, then people in the elite will not have any real interest in having children with members of the rest of the population.” (source, reported here)

This eugenicist mindset is already firmly entrenched in the minds of the people. In many nations such as Iceland and Denmark, Down’s Syndrome has disappeared because the abortion rate for children with the disease is almost 100%:

With the rise of prenatal screening tests across Europe and the United States, the number of babies born with Down syndrome has significantly decreased, but few countries have come as close to eradicating Down syndrome births as Iceland.

Since prenatal screening tests were introduced in Iceland in the early 2000s, the vast majority of women — close to 100 percent — who received a positive test for Down syndrome terminated their pregnancy.

While the tests are optional, the government states that all expectant mothers must be informed about availability of screening tests, which reveal the likelihood of a child being born with Down syndrome. Around 80 to 85 percent of pregnant women choose to take the prenatal screening test, according to Landspitali University Hospital in Reykjavik. (source, reported here)

Abortion today is possibly the most explicit example of murder for profit. There have been many good people who want to and have stood against abortion. However, as we have noted, there is a seldom discussed scandal among pro-life groups, for the same groups that are established for the purpose of banning abortion many times do not actually ban it, but have deferred in making concrete measures to take steps against it for fear of losing income from the business of activism:

If abortion were to be outlawed, and those involved in abortions punished by the state, then for what reason would we need the pro-life movement, the marches for life, the funding to finance anti-abortion organization? The money would be gone, the fat paycheck given to those who talk against but do nothing beyond that against abortion, would be gone. So of course the “pro-life” elites would not want an absolute ban on abortion. Look at the recent controversy that just took place in Oklahoma with the bill, SB 1118. If passed, this bill would have treated abortion -— at any stage after conception — a crime of first-degree murder. for what it is, first-degree murder. The bill was not even given a chance for a hearing at the senate floor. Why? Because of pro-life industry elitists, such as the National Right to Life, Oklahomans For Life, and most of all of the Republican senators in Oklahoma, who all opposed the bill. On 11 of Oklahoma’s 39 senators supported the bill, and many of them had “100% pro-life voting records from the pro-life and pro-family groups.”

Pro-life elitists like Tony Lauinger, vice-president of National Right to Life and the chairman for Oklahomans for Life, opposed SD 1118, giving the typical hypocritical response of, “do we want to make a statement, or do we want to make a difference?” Lauinger was confronted by some good Christians and this encounter he refused to call abortion murder:

All of these pro-life fraudsters reject the absolute abolishment of infanticide, and instead advocate for the strategy of “incremental pro-life legislation”, which simply means that the pro-life movement must work gradually, with increments, to stop abortion. They want to take it slowly, and reject stern and quick legislation against this crime against humanity. In other words, they just want activists to continue their activism, because that means more funding, and more funding means more money. In one report we read that “there are differing schools of thought in the pro-life movement regarding whether state legislatures should go as far as total criminalization before overturning Roe v. Wade.” In other words, they don’t want abortion to be outlawed, they don’t desire for the murder of children to be outlawed, they don’t want the law to dissuade through punishment mothers who may wish to murder their own children. They want to keep the activism industry going. (source)

What results is the creation of controlled opposition, where there is the appearance of something being done but the reality is that very little to nothing is taking place. It is like a toothless dog with a loud bark- he is all sound but no teeth.

Shoebat.com experienced a similar form of such opposition last year when the Director of the Rescue Christians project, Keith Davies, went to Hungary to lobby the government to help support persecuted Christians. As he discovered, the Hungarian government wanted Christian organizations to sign a paper saying they support Hungary’s statements on Christians but would not provide any actual help. The effect is the same as much of the “activism” of the pro-life industry, for outside of the people on the streets (literally) who work outside of clinics and with mothers, much of the lobbying and high-level organizing has become a conduit for funds and a job that no longer serves the purpose for which it was created.

The Catholic Church is one of, and many times the only voice against abortion.

The fact that anybody would be allowed to still serve in a public capacity after making a statement such as to support abortion, infanticide, and by corollary all of the horrors which is tied to it is nothing less than a scandal.
