Christians Across Trinidad And Tobago March In Support Of Laws Against Homosexuality, Say ‘We Do Not Want The Wrath Of God Visited Upon Us’
Christians across Trinidad and Tobago marched in support of laws against homosexuality in light of discussion over legalizing homosexual behavior. They declared that they did this because they said that homosexuality was unacceptable in the eyes of God and they did not want His wrath visited upon them:
“WE do not want the buggery laws to be removed.”Laventille-based Redemption Christian Centre pastor Dr Victor Gill of the T&T Cause non-governmental organisation (NGO) made his position clear after a peaceful walk through the streets of Port of Spain, yesterday.
Gill also said if the buggery laws were removed, God would visit his wrath upon Trinidad and Tobago and it would lead to more natural disasters and destruction. He said he was worried about the education which will be imparted to his children and grandchildren, “leading them to think homosexuality was acceptable in the eyes of God”. What would people in America do if they saw this?
They would laugh at them. Call them names. Mock them. Say they are “stupid,” “unevolved,” “lack compassion,” or “religious extremists.” Maybe they would even prosecute them.
What these people have is faith. These people in Trinidad and Tobago actually believe in what the Bible says- Old and New Testaments- and while many of them are not Catholic, their position on homosexuality aligns with Catholic teaching about the issue.
What they are saying her about homosexuality is what Shoebat.com has been saying for YEARS- and been criticized and called a “hate group” for saying.
If that is the case, then is the Bible a “hate book” that supports “hate groups?”
Be warned, because that is where the logic will eventually lead to. It is where the LGBT wants it to lead to because the Bible is the voice of morality against the evil actions that the LGBT supports as it is defined by them.
Would American Christians in any sizeable number stand up against homosexuality as did these people on the island?
Would they fear the wrath of God on them?
Would they repent if asked to?
The answer is quite obvious, especially since a super majority of Americans now support homosexuality.
If the people of Trinidad and Tobago righteously fear the wrath of God for potentially giving support to homosexuality, what is to be said of America, which not just embraces homosexuality, but aggressively promotes it around the world with a zeal of a missionary, except instead of for Christ their work is for sodom?
That is something to fear.
