American Christian Parents Throw Fit After Catholic School Reminds Them That Their Daughters Cannot Dress Like The Worthless Thots They Raised Them To Be At Prom

A Catholic high school in Michigan is under attack from parents after the school reminded students that the girls cannot dress like they are cheap hookers on a street corner, using a “modesty poncho” as a reminder:

A Catholic high school in Dearborn, Michigan, said that its much-criticized “modesty poncho” that was designed for those who wear revealing prom dresses is not actually intended to be used on students, following social media outcry.

Erin Wade, a student at Divine Child High School, posted on Twitter last week a photo of a pink “modesty poncho for prom” that was put up at the school, along with a note warning that it will be used on those who fail to meet the dance dress requirements.

The story garnered much media attention and controversy, before Principal Eric Haley sent out a letter to parents on Tuesday from the Archdiocese of Detroit looking to cool down fears.

“Like a majority of private and public schools, we ask that students and parents follow the dress code when they are purchasing Prom attire, just as they would follow the dress code for daily classes and other school events,” the principal said in the letter, which was obtained by WXYZ.

“Our intention with displaying the poncho was never to make students feel uncomfortable, but to remind all students and parents of our formal Prom dress policy, which has not changed for several years.”

He clarified that the poncho will not be passed out at the prom.

“It was on display to proactively remind students of our dress code policies and eliminate any confusion prior to this special event. We recognize that it has done the opposite for some members of our community and draws away from our goal of having students adhere to the dress code policy.”

Still, the principal said that the school may still have to hand out wraps and shawls to students who do not adhere to the dress code policy, as it has done so for years.

Some DCHS students, such as junior Abigail Witten, had said that they were left “really upset” by the poncho display.

“I felt it made too quick a judgment of our character and made the assumption that we would all show up in violation of the (dress code) policy,” Witten told TODAY Style.

“I thought it was also unfair to certain girls, as most dresses made available by the fashion industry do not allow them to fit their body types without them being in violation of the dress code.”

Theology teacher Mary Pat O’Malley told Fox2 that she came up with the poncho idea, and said that she had good intentions.

“We are trying [to] focus on the inner beauty and not draw attention to something that doesn’t need attention drawn to it,” O’Malley said. “It was really intended as a deterrent and a light-hearted one at that.”

One parent, who chose to not be named, argued that the ponchos would have been targeted at female students, however.

“It’s a method of shaming, a method of building and degrading to females [in] its interpretation [of] what’s modest and what isn’t,” the parent insisted. (source)

While it is a problem with the students, the real issue is with the parents.

Seriously, what is wrong with the parents? Normal men are naturally attracted to women dressed in a sexually provocative way. That is why children have PARENTS- their purpose is to instruct and guide their children to make good decisions and sometimes, to refuse to let their children get what they want in order to best help them.

If you have a child who likes to eat butter, do you let him eat butter all day? No, because if you did you are a complete idiot since its unhealthy and the child will look like a fat greaseball, and that would be your fault for being a worthless parent to let him get like this.

Young women, naturally, are attracted to young men and want to dress in ways to attract them. Doing this mean that the men will come because they are attracted to the natural beauty that comes from a young woman’s sexuality. This is normal. However, if parents do not establish boundaries with her, she might give in to her feelings and impulses in the moment, which can have a host of problems that do not end, especially if she becomes pregnant.

Women are naturally followers. Women are attracted to power and strength and men are attracted to youth and beauty. To counteract the natural effects that men will have on women, it is the responsibility of the parents and especially fathers to serve as the ultimate “cockblock” against men who would seek to be with their daughters outside of wedlock.

Modest dress is a part of its. It’s not an “absolute” solution into itself, but it established a boundary that helps both men and women to understand limits. There is a reason that some women are called “easy”- because they put all their “goods” on display and are therefore indicating their intentions.

This is what you call “signaling intentions.” The low cleavage, underwear-like top with no real leg garments, upskirt view, fake nails, too much makeup, stupid expression and drinking alcohol from the bottle in public screams I’M MODEST AND I HAVE NO DESIRE TO SLEEP WITH RANDOM MEN…said no woman like this ever.

This is basic human biology and sociology. This is why the Church promotes modesty- because chastity is very important, and dressing appropriately for the situation is an indicator of a person’s intentions. There is a time to dress for the bedroom and a time to dress for the rest of life.

These women dress as they were taught and allowed to dress, the former by their parents and friends, and the latter almost entirely by their parents’ permissions.

Why does this school need to remind their students not to dress like thots? Because, most likely, their parents raised them to act like thots.

The women are simply following what they were raised to be- stupid is what stupid does.

If this “modesty poncho” was really going to be handed out, what’s the problem? The school is clearly looking out for the spiritual good of the students, and if your daughter did dress in a way that was like a prostitute, should not the parents thank the school for doing this and as such letting them know about her behavior so they can deal with it?

They have no reason to get mad at the school unless the parents are or were as degenerate as their daughters are.

This is one of the reasons why American Christianity, regardless of denomination, is dying. Catholic, Protestant, “Evangelical,” it does not matter because for most Americans, Christianity is synonymous with good citizenry and nationalism on some level first, and then morality and truth second. It’s why according to a 2016 poll, approximately 68% of Catholics support homosexual “marriage,” something which is impossible because one cannot be a Catholic and a supporter of sodomite “marriage,” let alone the act itself.

Most “American Catholics” are just “baptized” pagans- they don’t even believe, and they make up at LEAST 60% of American “Catholics.” The rest are a guess, because there is an incredible amount of division among them. This does not even get into the Protestants, which are in an even worse case owing to a lack of any systematic theology, historicity, or authority other than “pastor said so.”

Perhaps, however, modesty ponchos really are too much.

Maybe the parents, especially the mothers of these women, need hijabs with a full niqab. Because obviously they are not teaching their daughters about modesty because they clearly did not practice it themselves and they could set a good example now by going “above and beyond.”

I say this humorously, but only in part. There really is a crisis among women today, even Christians, and part of the crisis is a lack of morality. The pornography industry and those who promote it want vice because it is profitable for them and a way of attacking Christian morality. Just ask any pornographer.

The way to fight moral rot is to have principles and live by them. The Catholic Faith provides those principles, and the problems is not the faith, but the fact that people refuse to abide by them because too many American would rather choose social conformity than to live in accordance with the beliefs they profess.

The future does not belong to those who “fit in” or want to live by the status quo. The future belongs to those who hold to principles and believe in them, be they the status quo or not.

That is why American Christianity is dying. The Christians chose to try to compromise between their beliefs and practices opposed to their beliefs, and the result was what it always is, which is to surrender their beliefs for those of the ones they are trying to compromise with.

Even the pagans understand this. What excuse do Christians have?
