Opinion: My Hope Is Built On Nothing Less Than Getting A Conservative Majority On The Supreme Court
Jesus never promised His church an easy road. Temptations to follow the ways of the world rather than the ways of the gospel abound. Even in our own time, many churches have fallen by the wayside when they begin to compromise the gospel mission, getting involved in temporary cultural battles rather than centering their efforts on what’s really important and eternal.
As Christians, we need to focus our energies on the primary task that Christ left for us: to achieve a conservative majority in the Supreme Court of the United States. We’ve spent far too much time spinning our wheels with things like evangelism, worship, theology, and outreach. The time for messing around is finished: let’s be as soldiers on the battlefield, who never take their eyes off their target until it’s finally “mission accomplished.”
When other believers are getting distracted by fulfilling the Great Commission, I’m staking my hope and my life on trying to get more Republican justices on that court, no matter the cost, no matter the compromise.
On a conservative SCOTUS majority I stand: all other ground is sinking sand.
