Up to 28 killed, dozens wounded in suicide attack in Pakistan on election day

A suicide bomber blew himself up outside of a polling station on Wednesday in Quetta, the capital of Pakistan’s western province, Balochistan, as the nation holds a general election. Local media gives conflicting reports on the number of victims. The Express Tribune  says at least 28 were killed in the blast, including five policemen. Other outlets report a lower death toll. Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the explosion, the terrorists’ mouthpiece AMAQ reports, as cited by Reuters.
