Senate Panel Says It Will Vote Today On Kavanaugh Nomination

The Senate Judiciary Committee said Thursday night that it plans to hold a vote Friday morning on Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court.

Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) had tentatively scheduled the vote earlier this week — pending the outcome of Thursday’s testimony by Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford.
