Hundreds of people, including the Communications Minister Ayoub Kara (Likud) and MK Oren Hazan (Likud), gathered at a cemetery in Rosh Ha’ayin to accompany Kim Levengrond-Yehezkel, 29, from Rosh Ha’Ayin, to her final resting place.

The mayor of Rosh Ha’Ayin, Shalom Ben Moshe, was also in attendance at the funeral and offered words of condolence. “I was with the family and I said, there are no words… the heart is torn… Kim was a brave woman who went out to work every morning. What did she do wrong? To take a woman from her daughter is a despicable act of terror. Rosh Ha’Ayin hugs Kim’s family. Find the terrorist and bring him to justice. Kim was also my neighbor, [now] I will never see her walking with a stroller again.”

A cousin of the deceased said during the funeral, “When I left school this morning I never would have believed that this would be how the day would go. Even though you left us, a person doesn’t leave until she is forgotten; we will never forget you.”

Sapir, another cousin of Yehezkel, exclaimed, “A half-a-year ago, I wrote on Facebook that I would always keep you safe, and I failed. Our lives will never be the same again, we are only left with memories.”

Yehezkel was killed earlier today in the terror attack at Barkan Industrial Park in the Samaria region of the West Bank by a Palestinian gunman.

The terrorist worked at the factory with Yehezkel and came in armed with a Carl Gustaf rifle, tied her up and then shot her. Ziv Hajabi, 35, from Rishon Letzion was also killed in the attack. His funeral will take place tomorrow.

In addition to the murders of Yehezkel and Hajabi, another Israeli citizen was wounded during the attack.
