Details On The Attack Against FOX News Personality Tucker Carlson’s Home Raises More Questions Than It Answers
FOX News host Tucker Carlson recently was “doxxed” online, and “antifa” left wing protesters went to his house, screaming and making threats:
A self-described left-wing Antifa group posted videos of a mob outside the Washington, D.C., home of Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Wednesday evening, chanting, “Tucker Carlson, we will fight. We know where you sleep at night.”
The now-deleted video was posted on social media by Smash Racism, D.C. The same group made headlines in September after activists confronted Sen.Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and his wife inside a restaurant during Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court confirmation hearings.
The group posted on Facebook that Carlson spreads “fear into our homes,” and said it wanted to even the score.
“Each night you remind us that we are not safe. Tonight, we remind you that you are not safe either,” the group posted. They also chanted, “Racist s—bag, leave town.”
The post was later removed.
Carlson, host of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” was not home at the time. He said his wife, Susie, was home alone and heard the commotion from the kitchen. She called the police and locked herself into a pantry, he said. His brother — who lives close by — arrived about the same time as law enforcement.
The host said activists rang his doorbell, broke his oak door and one protester was apparently caught on security video mentioning a pipe bomb.
D.C. police did not immediately respond to a Fox News email early Thursday.
Carlson said he was at the Fox News office in Washington working on his opening monologue when neighbors texted him about the commotion outside his home. His wife of 22 years did not contact him because she didn’t want to distract him before he went on air, he said.
The group eventually scattered. It was unclear if there were any arrests. Carlson said the group posted online the home addresses of his brother and his former college roommate, Neil Patel, who co-founded the Daily Caller with Carlson.
Carlson said he is used to being confronted in public and has no interest in playing the role of victim, but he said his wife and his four children should not have to be exposed to the aggression while at home.
“Here’s the problem, I have four children,” he said by phone. “I never thought twice about leaving them home alone, but this is the reaction because this group doesn’t like my TV show.”
Twitter reportedly removed a photo of Carlson’s home address that was posted by the group. Smash Racism DC’s account was suspended early Thursday.
Brit Hume, a Fox News commentator, took to Twitter to denounce the protest as “revolting, and frightening.” (source, source)
I went through a similar experience years ago when in college, and it is not enjoyable. To make a long story short, I had a time slot on the university’s radio station where I held a talk show about various issues that was broadcast in the area. During my university’s Gay Pride Week (this was over ten years ago), I invited and was able to get an interview with a man who said he was a former homosexual turned Christian and now married with two children who ran a ministry dedicated to helping men turn from the lifestyle of Sodom to the Gospel. It was an excellent interview, but while I was doing the interview I had happen to me what happened to Lot and his family.
There was a large window at my radio station, which was located in the Student Center, where people going by could see the individual behind the controls. A mob of homosexuals- I am guessing there were about 50 -gathered at the window and was banging on it and screaming. The glass was very thick- about 6 inches – but the shouts were so loud they could be heard on the radio. They were also banging on the radio station door, which was thankfully made of heavy metal construction, to try and rip it off so they could attack me. The mob was finally dispersed after about 10 minutes, but I will never forget it.
I have criticized Tucker Carlson before, but what he went through at his home is not something I wish on anybody.
But that said, I have a concern about these protests, and not for the obvious reason, which is “left wing” protesters attacking “the right”.
As I have said before, the difference between the left and right in the West is a non-difference, with the only distinction being that the left is open degeneracy, while the right provides a mask of legitimacy over its degeneracy, and since that mask usually involves on a superficial level the recognition of objectively correct principles but with an end that is no difference in essence than the left, it is not an answer to the degeneracy of the left, but rather degeneracy-lite.
The behavior exhibited by the left wing protesters at Carlson’s house is not a surprise. This does not mean it is good, but that their manifest chaos, calls for violence, and general anarchic behavior are not unique. Indeed, these people do not attempt to hide what they think, but openly say it for the world to hear, and it is evil. Likewise, the “right” is objectively correct and in the morally correct position to criticize what “the left” is doing here. Evil is evil and it needs to be called out because it knows no party affiliations.
However, what is going to be the response of the “right?” When I say “response,” I am not thinking in the immediate sense, but in the long-term sense and the consequences that it will carry for society. It may not even be limited to this particular event, but to a series of events that compound on each other and have later and more serious consequences. For example, the manufactured “refugee crisis” in Germany and then the German government intentionally refusing to prosecute crimes committed by “refugees,” but rather turning on her own people, has resulted in a resurgence of nationalism and xenophobia that is providing an increasing justification for a broader militarism using the migrants as pawns. This is not to justify or “defend” the “migrants” or their behavior, but to say that it is a historical pattern that one evil is commonly “justified” by another evil.
Note the highlighted piece in the story I posted above. I find it curious that the police did not immediately respond to such a crowd because when it comes to mob violence, especially in the USA, police departments around the country love to use such events as an excuse to get out the SWAT gear and the new military equipment purchased for them by the DHS and “show off”. It does not matter if it is a small town in New Mexico or a giant metropolis such as New York City- American cops love to show off their shiny new toys that Uncle Sam gave them at the start of the fiscal year courtesy of Congress and the American taxpayer, and they make full use of them when riots like this arise regardless of the context because all human skulls crack in the same way, and the more cracks there are the more justification there is for more money to get more toys.
Why were the police not dispatched immediately? Why was the protest allowed to grow? Was it because THE POLICE DEPARTMENT IS FULL OF LIBERALS?
Or perhaps was it because, as Shoebat.com and many other sides- both right and left -have noted, the police were ordered to stand down and let said violence ensue?
Likewise, where are the arrests? Am I to believe that there were not people who would talk, be they neighbors, fellow protesters, or police, who saw at least one person’s face, and did not attempt to identify or arrest them?
It simply does not make sense that with an event like this of such magnitude, especially that the use of bombs was mentioned, and the people who did it just seem to have disappeared with such a non-response from the police, unless one considers that there was far more to this event that what is known.
The fact is we do not know definitively all of the details to this story at this point. However, it contains a strange, consistent semblance to the response of the police during the varied bouts of “migrant” violence in Germany, with the difference being it is re-contextualized to America and the left-right political paradigm.
The “migrant violence” and their support by the “German left” in Germany lead to a rise of the “German right” and a resurgence of nationalism. Does one not think that in America, when people see “the left” attacking in a giant mob the house of a major TV show in a disordered way, that the “right” and even many people of general good will are just going to sit back and not care? On a natural level they will get angry, and many will begin to see the answer being presented and that has been presented for the last several years, and which we warned about that it was going to be presented, as is that of nationalism.
Where will this nationalism lead? Will it be used to call for mass arrests and the expansion of anti-terror laws to “crack down” on “threats?” Will it be used to suspend due process for those accused of crimes? Will it have further consequences? Remember, the threat of communism in Germany during the 1920 was serious, and the response to it was nationalism and the rise of the “right,” and history is a witness to what happened then.
Again, I am not saying this because I “agree” or “support” what happened with Tucker Carlson. I am saying this because historically speaking, events such as these, while the do happen organically, are consistently allowed to happen and in some cases directly manufactured so that an opposing political force can use it as a justification to expand their own power. The loser is always the common people, who find themselves simply losing more of what little they already had left.
The rhyme of history seems too close to repeating once again.
