Judge Orders Trump, Acosta To Wear Their Get-Along Shirt
WASHINGTON, D.C.—After the White House revoked CNN reporter Jim Acosta’s press pass, a federal judge ordered a temporary reinstatement of the pass, and also forced President Trump and Acosta to don a large “Get-Along Shirt” in order to help them sort out their differences.
The pair sullenly put the XXXL shirt over their heads and pouted. Acosta mumbled something about how “he started it,” causing Trump to reply, “Nuh-uh.”
Acosta was ready with a retort, however, stating, “Yeah-huh!”
Trump then replied with a forceful “Nuh-uh!” accentuating his point by blowing a raspberry. “Triple-stamped it, no erasies!”
Acosta and Trump continued this heated but civil exchange for several hours in the corner before Acosta finally muttered, “Sorry about hogging the microphone.” Trump awkwardly looked down at his feet as he muttered, “I guess I wasn’t very nice either. Sorry, man.”
At publishing time, Trump and Acosta were happily playing a round of Goldeneye 007 on the official White House Nintendo 64, but were forced into their get-along shirt again after nearly coming to blows over accusations of screen-looking.
