Lauren Daigle, Avril Lavigne Sing Worship Songs on Dancing with the Stars Season Finale
Popular Christian singer Lauren Daigle performed Monday night at ABC’s Dancing with the Stars Season 27 finale.
Daigle, who is preparing to head off on a Christmas Tour later this month, made an appearance on the popular celebrity competition show, Dancing with the Stars, on Monday.
The singer sang “You Say” just before the season 27 winners were announced.
Daigle shared her excitement about performing in a series of photos and videos posted to her Instagram story. In one clip she said, “Hey everybody, it’s Lauren Daigle. I’m here at Dancing with the Stars. Tonight’s the finale, I’m singing ‘You Say.’ I can’t wait to see all of you. Best wishes to all the finalists.”
The award-winning singer has recently made appearances on The Ellen Show, where she sang “Still Rolling Stones” from her top charting album Look Up Child, and TheTonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she sang the album’s title track.
Dancing with the Stars welcomed three other popular artists to the show including Dan + Shay, Robin Thicke and Avril Lavigne.
Lavigne just recently came back from a long hiatus by dropping a worship song called “Head Above Water,” which she performed at the finale. The punk-pop artists left the music world in 2013 to battle Lyme Disease. Her new album Head Above Water is expected to come out in February 2019.
