Border Police foiled an attempted Palestinian ramming attack in the South Hebron Hills on Monday morning.

The officers were in the Idna village to secure the area while the Civil Administration demolished illegal structures placed there.

During the demolition operation a Palestinian attempted to run over some of the officers who responded with gun fire.

According to Maariv, the Palestinian driver was killed. No border police officers were injured, according to the police.
