Israel headed to early elections in April
Israel will be heading to national elections in April, a statement by the heads of the coalition parties said in a statement on Monday.
Out of national and budgetary responsibility, the leaders of the coalition parties decided, unanimously and unanimously, to dissolve the Knesset and go to new elections at the beginning of April after a four-year term. The partnership in the Knesset and in the government will continue during the elections.
Earlier in the day, Yesh Atid chairman Yair Lapid said his party would not vote for a haredi draft bill.
