Deranged Man Dressed Like Woman Throws Fit, Threatens Violence After Cashier ‘Misgenders’ Him
A profanity-laden video posted to social media on Friday shows a man dressed like a woman becoming irate and threatening violence after a cashier refers to him as “sir.”
The video, reportedly recorded at GameStop in Albuquerque, New Mexico, begins as the customer yells at the cashier that he wants his money back rather than store credit.
“Excuse me, sir, there’s a young man in here,” a woman waiting in line states. “You need to watch your mouth.”
“Excuse me. It’s ma’am!” the man exclaims. “It is ma’am!”
The woman tells the customer to “settle down,” stating that she could call the police. He replies that she is instead the one who needs to “settle down” and mind her own business.
The man—wearing a pink tee, pink sneakers and hoop earrings—then turns to the cashier and reinforces that he wishes to be called ma’am. The cashier denies that he had referred to him as a male.
“I said ‘both of you,’” he states.
“No. You said sir,” the customer argues, still agitated. “Once again, it’s ma’am.”
“I actually said, ‘both of you guys,’ just in general,” the cashier again says.
“Right beforehand you [expletive] said sir!” the man exclaims. He starts to walk away, but turns back around enraged after the cashier calls him sir again.
“[Expletive], take it outside. You want to call me sir again I will show you a [expletive] sir!” he threatens.
“I apologize,” the cashier calmly states. “I apologize ma’am.”
The customer then angrily walks away, cursing and kicking into a display. Seconds later, he turns around and demands that the cashier provide the corporate number so that he can lodge a complaint that he had been “misgendered several times.”
The cashier, willing to comply, also asks the man to calm down and to stop using profanity.
“Well, I’m going to ask you for the fifth time to stop calling me a man, because quite clearly I am not,” the customer indignantly asserts.
The cashier repeats his apologies and again asks the man to stop cursing.
“I am not cursing. Get me the [expletive] number,” the customer replies.
The cashier, in seeking to correct the customer once again about his language, accidentally calls the man “sir” and then quickly switches to “ma’am.”
The customer soon leaves the store fuming, remarking that the cashier is disrespecting “trans people,” that he is going to spread the word, and that the company will lose money over the situation.
As previously reported, the Bible teaches that all men are born with the Adamic sin nature and are “by nature the children of wrath” (Ephesians 2:3), having various inherent inclinations that are contrary to the law of God and being utterly incapable of changing themselves. It is why Jesus outlined in John 3:5-7 that men must be regenerated by the second birth, or they cannot see the kingdom of Heaven.
“Jesus answered and said unto him, ‘Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.’ Nicodemus saith unto him, ‘How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?’ Jesus answered, ‘Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, ‘Ye must be born again.’”
“Bitter experience teaches that the imprisoning net clings too tightly to be stripped from our limbs by our own efforts. Nay rather, the net and the captive are one, and he who tries to cast off the oppression which hinders him from following that which is good is trying to cast off himself,” also wrote the late preacher and Bible commentator Alexander Maclaren.
“But to men writhing in the grip of a sinful past, or paralyzed beyond writhing and indifferent, because [they are] hopeless, or because they have come to like their captivity, comes one whose name is ‘The Breaker,’ whose mission it is to proclaim liberty to the captives, and whose hand laid on the cords that bind a soul, causes them to drop harmless from the limbs and sets the bondsman free.”
