About 13,000 Palestinians set tires aflame, and hurled rocks and explosive devices at IDF forces along the border on Friday during weekly “March of Return” demonstrations, as troops responded with crowd dispersal measures, as well as live fire, according to the IDF Spokesperson Unit.

Three attempts at crossing the border have also been reported, all three attempts ended with the culprits returning to Gaza immediately.

An IDF soldier was hit by rocks and lightly injured, the soldier was evacuated to the hospital to treat his wounds. The IAF attacked a Hamas post in response to the violent demonstrations.

One Palestinian woman was killed and fourteen more were injured from IDF fire, according to Palestinian Health Ministry reports.
