Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sat beside the foreign minister of Yemen at the Warsaw summit to discuss issues in the Middle East on Thursday.

It was a historic moment for the two countries, which do not have formal diplomatic ties.

Netanyahu said that the summit “signals a change and an understanding of what threatens our future and what we need to do to take care of our security.

“It shows the possibilities of cooperation beyond security issues, in every area of our lives,” Netanyahu added.
