Secretary Mike Pompeo Says In Interview That “It Is Possible” Trump Was Sent By God To Save The Jews From Iran

Trump’s election to office has inclined some American Christian to messianic tendencies, where personal fantasies are projected onto him regardless of their accuracy or lack thereof. One of these many fantasies has been the portrayal of Trump as a man sent by God to save whatever group is in question. This process, of course, necessarily involves ignoring Trump’s many objective moral evils that he defines himself by and without repentance, such as his history of fornication, especially with married women and objectively disgusting pornographic whores.

Trump is not a “Christian,” and it is doubtful he believes in God based on his life and statements. If his present and past personal actions were not enough, one should look at his promises, which he made and then openly broke and without the slightest bit of shame. He has shown himself to be no different than Obama, but with less integrity, for while there were many things that Obama did that were wrong, Obama’s deviancy was well-known and he did not try to hide his opinions, and that Obama also took some principled stances against the existing plan of operation that has been in existence for decades, which includes refusing to stoke further calls to war against Iran.

In a new low for the Trump administration, Secretary Mike Pompeo has come out and said that it is “possible” Trump was sent by God to save the Jews from Iran:

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Thursday said “it’s possible” that President Donald Trump was sent to protect the Jewish people from the threat of Iran.

During an interview with Pompeo broadcast on the Christian Broadcasting Network, Middle East bureau chief Chris Mitchell noted that Wednesday and Thursday marked the celebration of Purim, which is derived from the story of Queen Esther, who in the Hebrew Bible was married to a Persian king and saved thousands of Jews from being killed.

“Could it be that President Trump right now has been sort of raised for such a time as this, just like Queen Esther, to help save the Jewish people from the Iranian menace?” Mitchell asked Pompeo.

“As a Christian, I certainly believe that’s possible,” Pompeo, who was visiting Israel, replied.

“It was remarkable — so we were down in the tunnels where we could see 3,000 years ago, and 2,000 years ago — if I have the history just right — to see the remarkable history of the faith in this place and the work that our administration’s done to make sure that this democracy in the Middle East, that this Jewish state remains,” he said.

“I am confident that the Lord is at work here,” Pompeo concluded.

The comments comes after Trump announced the U.S. will recognize Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights region.

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday called the United States’ recognition a “Purim miracle,” the CBN reported.

Trump’s administration has made relations with Israel a priority, and even moved the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem. In addition, the Trump administration has increased harsh rhetoric on Iran, which Israel perceives as a fundamental threat. (source, source)

It is a known fact that Israel and America are tied at the hip. This exists for multiple reasons, but it is an open fact that Israeli lobbyists exert disproportional influence over US policy and actions in comparison to all other nations. Certainly it is good to have allies, but nations also need to look out for their own interests, and what Israel believes is in her interest is not necessarily that of the US.

Israel and her neo-conservative advocates have been pushing the US to attack Iran for years. Yet to that, what has Iran seriously done to provoke the US to war? There is nothing that the US can show, outside of highly dubious an questionable claims based on a dearth of evidence, because such does not exist. To the contrary, it can easily be shown that the US has been openly supporting Communist anti-government terrorists to attack Iran.

The provocateur is the US, owing to the influence of Israel- not the Iranians.

Even if the Iranians were going to attack, what gain would it impart to them? Iran has never been a global power, but only a regional power for almost all of her history. She may have the 14th most powerful military, but her neighbor and rival of Turkey has the 9th most powerful, her northern Russian neighbor the 2nd most powerful, and the US is the most powerful in the world. Her geopolitical location locks her to her neighbors and her history with them. Unlike the US, who due to her geographic isolation can attack other nations as she wills and then leave without any care, Iran cannot do this. If she were to do so, she would set up for her own failure.

Iran is not a stupid nation. She knows her history, her people, and her abilities. Even if she had a nuclear program, which it has been shown that she likely does not- Iran is not going to “nuke” Israel because it would be used as an immediate reason for the US to use her entire arsenal of war against her, which is something many people hope for. She is certainly not going to nuke the US, for in addition to the fact that the US is far away, it would only invite her destruction. It would be more likely for her to have a conflict with the Russians, as she has conflicted with them in the past, but even that would be highly dangerous and not a wise move because not only could she most likely not win, but her neighbors would turn against her.

Perhaps the question is not if Trump is going to save “the Jews” from Iran, but rather Iran from the war-like machinations of Israel and the US that are so open and have virtually taken over the thought processes of US foreign policy.
