Why Joe Biden Will Not Become President
By Theodore Shoebat
Here are some of my simple observations on why Joe Biden will not become president.
For one thing, Biden is like another Hillary Clinton. He has run for the presidency lost every time. The first time he lost to Obama and in a second attempt he lost to Hillary Clinton.
How in the hell could he ever win again, after losing to two candidates the latter of whom (Clinton) got defeated by Trump? If Clinton lost to Trump, and Biden lost to Clinton, how in the world could he actually win?
Another thing we must factor in here is the stigma of being a Democrat like Clinton that surrounds Biden. Biden backed the Iraq War, and he also was very close to industrial elites, which will be realities that the Bernie types will hate him for, just as many of them hated Clinton for the same reasons and decided to become pro-Trump. Mehdi Hasan wrote an interesting analysis on why its impossible that Biden will never win the presidency. He wrote:
Clinton won the Democratic nomination in 2016, at the second attempt, having been defeated by Obama eight years earlier. For Biden, it would have to be third-time lucky. His supporters might not want you to remember this, but he has run for president twice already: In 1987, he quit the Democratic primary race within three months of announcing after being accused of plagiarizing parts of his speech. In 2008, he dropped out after coming fifth in the Iowa caucus, winning less than 1 percent of the vote.
Yet now, it seems, he and his supporters believe this serial loser is the only Democratic candidate able to win back white-working class votersfrom Trump and triumph in the 2020 presidential election?
On top of being an old dinosaur Democrat who has no ability to garner serious enthusiasm to win, Biden does not have a cult of personality. He just does not. With Trump, people were praising him as God’s blessing to America. Even today this continues, with Mike Pompeo saying that Trump could have been chosen by God to save the Jewish people. There is a messiah complex amongst a faction of Trump backers, and it is this cult of personality that is needed to win the presidency.
Obama also had a cult of personality that surrounded him, and it was this veneration that got him the victories over McCain and Romney who were, like Biden, boring politicians who (especially with Romney) thought they could impress by spitting statistics. The adulation for Trump was so strong that he himself admitted: “I could stand In the middle Of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any voters.” MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell catered to the Trump cult when he said: “As I stand before you today, I see the greatest president in history. Of course he is. He was chosen by God”. There was even a film called The Trump Prophecy, which affirmed that God chose Trump to restore America’s moral values. As a report from the Guardian tells us:
It was, everyone agreed, a miracle. The unexpected election of Donald Trump in 2016 was an act of God, who chose the philandering billionaire and reality TV star to restore America’s moral values.
This is the theme of The Trump Prophecy, a movie telling the story of Mark Taylor, a former fireman from Orlando forced to retire after suffering from PTSD, which premiered on Tuesday.
Between graphic nightmares featuring demonic monsters and hellish flames, Taylor received a message from God in April 2011, while he was surfing television channels.
As he clicked to an interview with Trump, Taylor heard God say: “You are hearing the voice of the next president.”
And so it came to pass, although it took another five years and a national prayer campaign. Taylor duly wrote a book, The Trump Prophecies: The Astonishing True Story of the Man Who Saw Tomorrow … and What He Says Is Coming Next, on which the movie is based.
The book upon which this trash of a film (if we could call it a film) was based is called “The Trump Prophecies” and it is filled with sycophantic lines about prophecies that the author claims to have received (kind of like Muhammad and Joseph Smith. Amazingly, Evangelicals will bash Islam and Mormonism for having claiming false visions from God when they will follow people who make the same claims) about the glories of Trump. For example, in one part of this scam of a book it reads:
“I saw Donald Trump’s face come on the air, and although I had seen him in the media hundreds of times prior and never thought a thing about it, something deep within my spirit immediately snapped to awareness … like an invisible sergeant within the Army of the Lord calling me to attention. A signal had finally penetrated the static interferences that my spiritual radars had become. The fog lifted. My perception became alert and ready to receive. My discernment soared off the charts.”
Regardless of how stupid, how much of a scam and how fraudulent this book is, many people wasted their money on it and it has over 900 customer reviews so far (most of them positive). No discernment has “soared off the charts.” What has soared off the charts, and continues to break records, is stupidity, fickleness, and a callous obeisance towards all chimeras that cater to the fantasies of a spellbound society. Bottom line, Trump has a cult, Biden does not.
We can point to statistics and polices to predict why someone will win or lose all we want. The ultimate determining factor for a presidential victory is a cult of personality. Most people who vote do not read about policy or mundane economic details. They look at the person’s personality.
If Biden becomes the nominee, the Democrats will be setting him up for failure.
