U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar Calls Trump’s Jewish Advisor a ‘White Nationalist’
U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar is under fire again, this time for calling President Trump’s adviser Stephen Miller – a Jewish man – a “white nationalist.”
According to USA Today, Omar took to Twitter on Monday to voice her opinion on if Miller should have a say in regard to policy.
Omar wrote, “Stephen Miller is a white nationalist. The fact that he still has influence on policy and political appointments is an outrage.”

The freshman representative also attached an article from SplinterNews.com to her tweet which outrightly calls Miller a “white nationalist.” The article blames Miller for President Trump withdrawing Ronald Vitiello’s nomination for the head of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency so that the administration could take ICE in a “tougher direction.”
Omar’s tweet was not on the internet long before attracting the attention of news outlets, constituents, and fellow legislators.
Kyle Morris of Breitbart News commented on the Tweet noting, “You do know he’s Jewish, right?”

Donald Trump, Jr. also chimed in writing, “I see that the head of the Farrakhan Fan Club, @IlhanMN, took a short break from spewing her usual anti-semitic bigotry today to accuse a Jewish man of being a “white nationalist” because she apparently has no shame.”

New York Congressman Lee Zeldin pointed out how shocked and disappointed he was in Omar’s behavior writing, “During my time in Congress before @IlhanOmar got here, I didn’t once witness another Member target Jewish people like this with the name calling & other personal attacks. In 2019 though, for @IlhanOmar, this is just called Monday.”

Others, however, have been agreeing and defending the freshman congresswoman.

Omar – one of the first Muslim congress people – has been the center of controversy many times since she was voted into office.
As Christian Headlines previously reported, Omar was in the hot seat in February after she made anti-Semitic remarks suggesting that American legislators are only pro-Israel because Jews pay them to be. Omar later apologized for these remarks. The Minnesota congresswoman also targeted Vice President Mike Pence in December when she mocked a photo of him with his eyes closed. She captioned the photo “Jesus take the wheel! #BorderWall.”
