Rivlin to designate candidate to form new government
President Reuven Rivlin received the official results of the elections for the 21st Knesset from the Elections Committee on Wednesday afternoon.
In the hours ahead, Rivlin said he will designate the candidate that MKs have recommended to form a new government.
The president also said he hopes there will be a large and stable government that will reflect the will of the people as much as possible. He lamented lower turnout and that technology was used in the election for unrestrained attacks on political opponents.
