Judge Rules Trump Can’t Ask For Women’s Phone Numbers On U.S. Census
U.S.—A federal judge has struck down a proposed question on the 2020 U.S. Census that would have asked various models, porn stars, and other women what their phone number is.
President Trump reportedly suggested the question, which would read, “Hey baby, can I get your digits?” Trump had googled “How do you ask a woman for her phone number” and “good pickup lines” before formulating the question, according to White House insiders.
“We find this question concerning for various reasons,” the judge wrote in his decision. “We don’t really see the relevance of sending women’s phone numbers to Donald Trump, and it might be a security and privacy concern as well.”
“You’re married, dude,” he added.
In a rare bipartisan moment, however, former president Bill Clinton stood up for Trump, saying it was a “totally legitimate question” that he himself would like to see the answers to.
“For science,” Clinton added hastily.
