‘We Will Chop off Their Heads’ for Allah, Kids at Philadelphia Islamic Center Sing in Disturbing Video
In a shocking video shared to YouTube, children at the Philadelphia Islamic Center sang about fulfilling Allah’s promise by leading an army and chopping off the heads of unwarranted people.
“We will defend the land of divine guidance with our bodies, and we will sacrifice our souls without hesitation,” the young children sang. “We will chop off their heads, and we will liberate the sorrowful and exalted Al-Aqsa Mosque. We will lead the army of Allah fulfilling His promise, and we will subject them to eternal torture.”
The disturbing video was shared to YouTube by the Middle East Media Research Institute, also known as MEMRI a Middle Eastern watchdog group, who wanted to uncover what was taking place in Philadelphia.
“These are not isolated incidents; they are happening in major centers of the country – including in Pennsylvania,” MEMRI said in a statement to Fox News about the video.
MEMRI originally stumbled upon the video on The Muslim American Society (MAS) Islamic Center in Philadelphia, when the group shared the video to their Facebook page in honor of “Ummah Day.”
The day was celebrated by children wearing traditional Palestinian scarves, singing, and poetry readings, which mentioned killing for Allah, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
In just the short video alone, multiple children are heard saying graphic and violent things.
One girl praised martyrs for sacrificing their lives in order to take over Jerusalem.
Another girl said: “We will defend the land of divine guidance with our bodies, and we will sacrifice our souls without hesitation. We will chop off their heads, and we will liberate the sorrowful and exalted Al-Aqsa Mosque. We will lead the army of Allah fulfilling His promise, and we will subject them to eternal torture.”
The organization, The Muslim American Society (MAS), has a total of 42 chapters in the United States, and one in the United Kingdom as well.
In a released statement, the Muslim American Society claimed to “reject” the statement made in the video, and blamed it on cultural differences, and a lack of vetting.
“While we celebrate the coming together of different cultures and languages, not all songs were properly vetted,” the statement from MAS read. “This was an unintended mistake and an oversight in which the center and the students are remorseful. MAS will conduct an internal investigation to ensure this does not occur again.”
That statement, which was revised at a later date, now reads, “our investigation revealed that the school that organized the event on April 17, 2019 is a separate entity renting space from MAS Philadelphia,” and said that “the video from the school was uploaded to the chapter’s Facebook page without verifying the content of the video for appropriateness.”
