With ‘Game Of Thrones’ Over, Christians Reluctantly Return To Song Of Solomon For Fix Of Risque Content

U.S.—According to a new report, the nation’s Christians reluctantly returned to reading the book of Song of Solomon in their Bibles in order to get their fill of risque, raunchy content after Game of Thrones concluded.

Christians have been covertly watching the nudity-filled, profanity-packed show for years. But now that it’s ending, they had to find something to hold them over until the next big HBO series comes out. So, they dusted off their Bibles and started working their way through the Old Testament, especially the eyebrow-raising Song of Solomon.

“Well, now that my favorite raunchy show is off the air, I guess I’ll just have to go back to the Old Testament,” said one man in Delaware. “There’s some pretty good stuff in here. I mean, it’s not quite as graphic as the show, but still. Solomon was quite the wordsmith when it comes to describing… certain things.”

“Good stuff.”
