Ocasio-Cortez Hosts Instagram Live Video While Casually Assembling 12-Piece Paw Patrol Puzzle
WASHINGTON, D.C.—Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has become known for her casual, down-to-earth demeanor while hosting Instagram Live videos. One time, she assembled some Ikea furniture while calling for the masses to seize the means of production, while another time, she was seen baking while discussing the impending doom of the world.
This week, she answered constituents’ questions on the evils of capitalism while casually assembling a 12-piece Paw Patrol puzzle.
“Capitalism is, like, bad, you guys,” she said, her brow furrowed in concentration as she tried to find the final corner piece to a puzzle of Marshall putting out a fire. “Hang on… hmmm… sorry, it’s hard to do two things at once sometimes. But yeah, we need to eat the rich and tax them more and give that money to the government, which is like, really a lot more efficient than private businesses.”
Pundits on the left quickly praised her for her relatable style. Time magazine immediately began working on a cover showing the representative from New York putting the nation back together like a puzzle, while Vox ran a think piece comparing her to Gandhi. Meanwhile, Fox News and other right-leaning outlets quickly called for a boycott on all Paw Patrol merchandise.
Several minutes into the live stream, Ocasio-Cortez had grown angry with the puzzle and attempted to force Chase’s face onto Rubble’s body.
