The IAF attacked a number of targets in the Gaza strip on Friday morning after a rocket fired from Gaza struck a Chabad Yeshiva in Sderot on Thursday night, Palestinian sources reported, according to Maariv.
The sources said that one of the strikes targeted a militant site east of the al-Zaytoun neighborhood east of Gaza City.
The Tunis military post east of Gaza City was attacked in another strike, according to Maariv. The Hamas terrorist organization ordered all active military posts and training bases cleared in Gaza.
“The threats of the leadership of the occupation aimed at collecting votes for the upcoming elections do not scare our people,” said Hazam Kasem, spokesperson for Hamas.
Israeli naval vessels are also reportedly cooperating in the attacks on the Gaza Strip. No injuries have been reported.

Israeli reconnaissance aircraft are maintaining an intense presence in the skies over the Gaza Strip and more strikes are expected, the Hezbollah-affiliated Al-Manar news agency reported.

Anna Ahronheim and Ilanit Chernik contributed to this report.
