US National Security Advisor John Bolton landed in Israel on Saturday and is expected to meet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday during a special summit meeting in which regional security concerns will be discussed.

The meeting will also include Russian Secretary of the Security Council Nikolai Patrushev and high-ranking Israeli security officials.  Making it a summit in which Israel will present its views, and listen to, both Russia and the US.

The US decision was in the aftermath of Iran downing a US drone in what the Islamic Republic considers its own airspace and the US international airspace.
