Neo-Ottoman Tyrant Demands Access To Nuclear Weapons, Claims Anything Else Is ‘Unacceptable’
With great power comes great responsibility, for the stronger one is, the more demands that one can make and the capacity for deadly force that once can use increases.
There is much and just criticism of the US for the abuse of her power. However, this can also be said of any empire throughout the world, for empires are not forged by submissive peace treaties or mere agreements with other people held together by the bond of word. Human beings have always fought with each other, and there are some groups of people who simply just do not listen when told to do or not to do something. Now sometimes this can be a good thing because willful submission to an evil idea is consent to it. However, sometimes people are just evil themselves and they refuse to submit to rational or even mutually beneficial ideas because their own lust for power and a quest to be a personal dictator takes precedence over the well being of others.
This fight to balance power in a sin-fallen world is representative of loving one’s fellow man, for one must be able to show mercy and deliver justice, as to lack either is to be unloving. Now all empire inevitably err in many ways, but often times the question is how bad, and to what extent said errors happens, of which more and more serious ones are usually made towards the “end” of an empire than in the beginning or middle.
Many of the most recent Empires- America, the UK, Spain, Portugal, Russia, and to a lesser extent France -while able to be accused of crimes, have generally done an OK job at managing their territories. On the other hand, there are some nations whose empires have been either based on or used to commit countless blatant crimes, such as the German Imperial situation in Africa during the late 19th and early 20th century, or the Japanese Empire of World War II, as both revolved heavily around the mass exploitation of people without providing any serious tangible benefits to them and in return for executing bizarre eugenic experiments on them in the name of a perverted quest for power.
Turkey is also a historical Empire, known as the Ottoman Empire, and while a historical “heir” to the Byzantine and former Eastern half of the Roman Empire, was like her Teutonic and Asiatic allies, also was very abusive to those who she conquered. Turkey was defeated in the First World War, but following the conclusion of the Second World War, the US and Germany began the next century rebuilding Turkey into an empire as a part of the Gladio program in as a part of a “strategy of tension” to place pressure on the USSR.
The strategy so far has worked, and Turkey is now the 8th strongest military in the world and the second largest in Europe, surpassed in both only by Russia. With Turkey’s growth in power she is now also demanding more and deadlier weapons. President Erdogan made this clear when he recently said that it was ‘unacceptable’ for nations who alerady possess nuclear weapons- a distinct criticism of the European powers as well as Israel since it is an unspoken but acknowledged fact that Israel has a nuclear capacity -that Turkey should be forbidden from having nuclear weapons.
“Some countries have missiles with nuclear warheads, not one or two. But (they tell us) we can’t have them. This, I cannot accept,” he told his ruling AK Party members in the eastern city of Sivas.
“There is no developed nation in the world that doesn’t have them,” Erdogan said.

“We have Israel nearby, as almost neighbors. They scare (other nations) by possessing these. No one can touch them.” (source)
Turkey did not say if she was developing or had plans to develop nuclear weapons, but one cannot rule out that she is likely working on both at the moment.
If Turkey were to get nuclear weapons, then it would be an incredibly dangerous situation because Turkey’s history is that of an imperial power and, like Germany and Japan, she would likely attempt to use them at some point if a serious global or even regional war happened, and the consequences would be horrendous.
Another serious consideration to take into mind would be that of Israel, because while she makes bold claims of her “strength,” Israel is quite weak because she depends on the US for her military braggadocio and protection, not to mention the tremendous amount of welfare that the US pays to her. She may have nuclear weapons, but if she were to at all attempt to use them against Turkey, then it is likely that Turkey would respond by nuking Israel with a viciousness only comparable to (albeit naturally, far less) than the days of Sodom. It is likely that Israel would attempt to, as she has historically done, side with Turkey and pledge herself as a vassal to her.
The next major person to watch out for would be Saudi Arabia, and I do not say that as a threat, but as a target. Iran and Turkey have their differences, but they also are good friends, and they are mutual enemies of Saudi Arabia. The House of Saud has been written about by Shoebat.com many times, and the perception from Turkey, Iran, and even many Arabs is that the Saud Family are ruthless usurpers who blaspheme Islam and are worthy of death under Islamic law. Turkey and Iran would happily give a khazouk to each member of the royal family. This is why the Saudi Arabia has attempted to form alliances with China and Pakistan, but in a major conflict it is unlikely that either will come to her aid, for the former will only look out for her interests (and given that she has nearly a half-trillion dollars invested into Iranian oil she would likely not interfere negatively against Iran in a regional conflict), and the latter has to worry about being torn apart by Iran and India after Saudi Arabia has been crucified and left to die in the Arabian sun per the punishments of Mohammedan law.
Will Turkey get nukes? It is yet to be see, but if she does, make no mistake that she is doing so with the intention of reviving the Ottoman menace from the grave, and unlike the other nuclear powers of which America was the only one so far to use them, it is possible the Turkey may be the next one.
