Lauren Daigle Announces First-Ever Arena World Tour

Dove and Grammy award-winning Christian artist Lauren Daigle has released details on her first-ever headline arena world tour. Daigle will perform for 44 days from Australia to LA, starting on January 18, according to Faithwire.

The 28-year-old star hopes the tour brings hope and healing.

“I love putting out a vibe where people are free to respond however they feel and where people feel like a warm welcome, where they can have a good laugh and let go of some of the things they have been holding on to through the stress of family or work or whatever,” she told PEOPLE. “It’s going to be lively and fun and cheerful as well as emotionally connected.”

The tour will include some of her newest songs off of her award-winning album “Look Up, Child.”

The “You Say” singer told People earlier this year that singing from the stage brings a different connection to her fans.

“There’s this communication that’s so pure, this vulnerability that’s so pure when it comes to playing on a stage that I was really, really missing,” she said. “I got to get back to the music I love. The soul, the grit, the passion—I want to get back to those places.”

Having earned six Dove Award nominations earlier this year, Daigle looks forward to creating a new experience on her latest tour.

“This year has been life-changing,” she said in a press release. “There’s no better feeling than to be able to look out from the stage and see how people have connected with the songs on this album. Our shows feel like one big party of togetherness, and I can’t wait to create a whole new tour for 2020. It’s going to be so much fun!”

Daigle has experienced success in both the secular and Christian markets. Signed to Centricity Music, her first album, “How Can It Be” hit No. 1 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. She also earned two Grammy Awards for her album “Look Up Child” and “You Say,” as well as two American Music Awards.

She will be joined on the stage with Christian folk group “Johnnyswim” for the tour.
