Israeli fighter jets and helicopters struck multiple Hamas targets near Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip in the pre-dawn hours of Sunday morning, the IDF said in a statement. “The attack struck a Hamas military compound in the center of the Gaza Strip, impairing the [terrorist] organization’s ability to build up,” the statement said. The airstrikes were in response to rockets fired out of Gaza into Israel Saturday night. No casualties were reported from the rocket attacks. “The Hamas terrorist organization bears responsibility for what is happening in and out of the Gaza Strip, and it will face the consequences for terrorist actions against Israeli citizens,” the IDF said. “The IDF will continue to act as necessary against attempts to harm Israeli civilians.”Source
