Evangelicals Silent As Israeli President Netanyahu Wants To Inject Children With What Many Call “The Mark Of The Beast”
There is an idea among many American Evangelicals that microchips and getting an injection with a microchip containing personal information- getting “chipped” -may be a “mark of the beast”, referring to Biblical prophecies about the last days before Christ returns.
Whether or not one agrees that such above is indeed going to happen is another discussion. What is interesting is that according to the Jerusalem Post, President Netanyahu of Israel, a darling of many American Evangelicals, is advocating for just this act to be done to children in the name of public safety.
Cyber experts slammed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his proposal to “microchip” children who return to schools and kindergartens as the coronavirus lockdown is lifted, Ynet reported on Friday.
While speaking at a press conference on Monday, Netanyahu suggested the Health Ministry use new technology to help Israel adjust to its new routine as the state is lifting the coronavirus lockdown. “That is, technology that has not been used before and is allowed under the legislation we shall enact,” he clarified.
“I spoke with our heads of technology in order to find measures Israel is good at, such as sensors. For instance, every person, every kid – I want it on kids first – would have a sensor that would sound an alarm when you get too close, like the ones on cars,” the prime minister said.
“It will be hard to do it to more than a million schoolchildren who return to their educational institutions in order to ensure one student sits at the distance of two meters from another. It is fictional and dangerous,” cyber resilience expert Einat Meron told Ynet.
“Theoretically, I get the idea behind it,” she said. “But although such distance-sensitive microchips exist in vehicles, it is different in humans.” According to Meron, “a beeping sound telling me I got close to someone is not enough. Who says it will change anything? I would have gotten closer either way.”
The expert added that “the actual issue is the enforcement, and here everything changes.” Meron told Ynet that “microchipping children will not pass any test – both practically and legally.” Similar to Meron’s notion that notifying citizens on their distance will not affect their actions, many fear the state would make use of the information available from the sensors.
“If the information with the kids’ location is uploaded to the internet, a pedophile with some cyber knowledge may invade the system and stalk them outside their schools, follow them and distribute the information on other platforms,” Meron said. “Can the state take responsibility for that?”
The Prime Minister’s Office responded to the report, telling Ynet Netanyahu’s suggestion “is not to be implemented through databases, but through simple technology notifying [the citizens] about their distance. It is a voluntary option that is designed to help children keep their distance, like Mobileye with vehicles.”
The office added that the prime minister’s suggestion is “an idea that may help maintain social distancing, and there will not be any violation of privacy.” (source)
Where are the American Evangelical Christians? It’s not “the Pope” or any prelate who wants to stick microchips into children, but the very Netanyahu so defended by many American “Christians” as well as would-be so-called “Zionists” around the world, who veritably equivocate religious piety with the worship of a race an nation which defines itself post-Crucifixion by the rejection of the Messiah.
The Church is the true tribe of Israel, rooted not in blood of men, but in the blood of Christ which was poured out for all men. There are countries, but countries come and go. Politics has its place but it does not replace God, as He is the Master of all empires and peoples.
The Catholic Church is excoriated by many Evangelicals and as well as others who claim tradition and patriotism- even in the ranks of the faithful or those who call themselves apostolic -but the fact is that even with all of the problems that the Church has and the rightful criticism necessary and overdue on such matters, the fact is that the Church emphasizes the universality of all men, not any specific race, tribe, or people, because the Church is for all who believe in Christ as He came to save all who embrace Him and want to be with Him. This is the true Israel, and why the Church is not only the new and true one, but always was, because this is what God always wanted.
By contrast, the current Israel is much the opposite, for while there are many good people of Israeli and Jewish backgrounds (noting the racial and religious distinction), the concept of Israel that many Evangelicals support and certainly an arguable majority of “zionists” is that Israel is a racial-religious entity for a specific people, and many would argue to the intentional exclusion of others, possibly even to their immoral abuse.
For years, Evangelicals have warned about “the chip” and how it could be a “mark of the beast”, and many have criticized the Church, the true Israel, as one entity who may advocate and even not just push for, but institute this worldwide, and this comes with no evidence to support such a claim at all except wild speculations taken from books of centuries past likewise based on fantasy. However, now that Netanyahu the darling of so many who represents the political fact of a “divinely” established nation, is pushing for the very evil they warned about, there is a deafening silence.
Many of the great saints of the Church have said repeatedly over centuries that the antichrist would emerge from the Jews due to the rejection of Christ, and many Evangelical types as well as Zionists have said this is just “racism” and “anti-semitism”. Yet if Netanyahu would ostensibly support an action associated by Evangelicals with the antichrist (certainly not to say that Netanyahu himself is “the antichrist” by any means, as there is no proof to assert such at all), the silence from Evangelicals, while troubling, hopefully would inspire many to reconsider their current views in the light of Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition and then to re-evaluate their social, economic, and political priorities in turn from this.
