Televangelist Pat Robertson Says God Will Intervene in Overturning Election Results
Televangelist Pat Robertson recently claimed that God will “stop the theft of our election” by having the U.S Supreme Court rule in favor of a Texas lawsuit alleging several key swing states of skewing the 2020 election results, Newsweek reports.
As Christian Headlines previously reported, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit against Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin this week for exploiting the COVID-19 pandemic “to justify ignoring federal and state election laws and unlawfully enacting last-minute changes, thus skewing the results of the 2020 General Election.”
Attorneys General from 18 other states have also joined Texas in hopes that the nation’s highest court would overturn the election for President Trump.
According to CBN News, the 18 states involved in the case include Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, and West Virginia. Meanwhile, Arizona filed a separate brief expressing its support.
On Thursday’s broadcast of the CBN’s “The 700 Club”, Robertson, a staunch supporter of the president, argued that divine intervention will take place in overturning the election.
“God is never late,” Robertson asserts. “We declared on this program, and you joined with me, that God almighty was gonna do a miracle and stop the theft of our election and the fraud that was being perpetrated on the American people, and that God himself would intervene.”
The prominent televangelist held up a copy of Paxton’s lawsuit as he believes a miracle will soon be taking place.
“They’re going to the Supreme Court to say ‘this election was rigged and you’ve got to overturn it,'” Robertson said, prior to reading the complaint.
“There’s time to get this thing fixed,” he continued, “The Trump team didn’t get in gear, but nevertheless there is a miracle taking place.”
Prior to the presidential election, Robertson prophesied a Trump win but warned that the U.S will soon “be torn apart” and that Israel would go to war against Iran and other Muslim countries.
