Twitter Permanently Bans MyPillow Account following Ban of CEO Mike Lindell

Mike Lindell, the CEO of the bedding company MyPillow, had the company’s account banned from Twitter after the platform shut down his personal account as well.

According to The Blaze, he tweeted from the company’s Twitter account on Sunday leading up to the ban. Lindell, a staunch supporter of former President Trump, has often contested that the 2020 presidential election was stolen.

“Thank you to everyone who has supported MyPillow during this time … Jack Dorsey is trying to cancel me (Mike Lindell) out! We are extremely busy and hiring as fast as we can to handle all the shipping! Jack will be found out and should be put in prison when all is revealed!”, Lindell wrote.

The MyPillow corporate account also had promoted Lindell’s appearance on a Monday radio program as he sought to discuss how Dominion Voting Machines overturned the election results in favor of Joe Biden, the New York Postreports. In turn, Dominion has since filed a defamation lawsuit against Lindell for his claims.

Last week, Twitter banned Lindell’s personal account following the attack at the U.S. Capitol in early January. Reportedly, Lindell had violated the platform’s civic integrity policy.

The social media giant confirmed to USA Today on Monday that the MyPillow account was banned for violating the ban evasion policy.

In response to the ban, Lindell noted that he was not made aware of the ban of his company’s account.

“I can’t believe they’re doing this to my company,” Lindell told USA Today in an interview. “They’re out to destroy me.”

Lindell further revealed that several companies, such as Bed Bath & Beyond, Wayfair, and others have discontinued selling his MyPillow products.

Kohl’s and J.C. Penney have also ceased selling the brand, citing a slowdown in sales behind the decision.

Lindell also took to NewsMax in an interview Tuesday afternoon over the Twitter suspensions.

When Lindell asserted that he had “100 percent proof” that the Dominion machines used in the election were rigged, NewsMax Anchor Bob Sellers interrupted the MyPillow CEO and denied that the allegations were true.

“Mike, you’re talking about machines that we at Newsmax have not been able to verify any of those kinds of allegations,” Sellers argued. “We just want to let people know that there’s nothing substantive that we’ve seen.”

“While there (was) some clear evidence of some cases of voter fraud and election irregularities, the election results in every state were certified and Newsmax accepts the results as legal and final. The courts have also supported that view,” he continued.

Lindell, however, persisted in his claims in which Sellers sought to end the interview segment.

“Can I ask our producers? Can we get out of here, please?” Sellers asked. “I don’t want to have to keep going over this. We at Newsmax have not been able to verify any of these allegations.”

While co-anchor Heather Childers tried to bring the segment under control, Sellers got up from his chair and walked off camera, concluding the interview. Lindell would later make a second appearance on NewsMax’s nightly programming, Rob Schmitt Tonight but did not address his earlier claims on Dominion.
