Justin Bieber Releases Surprise New EP Featuring Pastor Judah Smith

Justin Bieber just dropped a new EP that featured his pastor and mentor, Judah Smith, in which they talk about who Jesus is.

The album features six songs with a variety of music artists. The artists featured are Brandon Love, Pink Sweat$, Tori Kelly, Beam, Chandler Moore, and Lauren Walters. Bieber announced the EP in a Tweet picturing an apple notes app with “Freedom.” written on it. The tweet read, “Freedom on all platforms.”

The songs on the album are titled “Freedom” featuring Beam, “All She Wrote” featuring Brandon Love and Chandler Moore, “We’re In This Together,” “Where You Go I Follow” featuring Pink Sweat$, Chandler Moore, and Judah Smith, “Where Do I Fit In” featuring Tori Kelly, Chandler Moore, and Judah Smith, and “Afraid To Say” featuring Lauren Walters.

The EP reportedly took supporters by surprise, The Christian Post reports. It was released on Easter Sunday and reportedly has a lot of Christian messages in it. His pastor, who is featured on two tracks, talked about the gospel and who Jesus is. One song is from the perspective of a skeptic who concludes that, since the historical documents are true, there truly is nobody like Jesus.

In one of the tracks, Bieber prays for his listeners. He also shares a message that God never writes us off, no matter what we’ve done or are still doing. “God never writes us off ever. He’s with us in our pain. He’s with us in a struggle. He’s with us in our bad decisions. He’s with us all the time. He never writes us off.”

This EP comes on the heels of Bieber releasing his most recent album, Justice, on March 19, 2021.

The album is released on all major streaming platforms, and you can find the platform of your choice by visiting his official release link for it here.
