More Than 200 Kids Welcome Jesus into Their Lives during 7 Hills Church’s Vacation Bible School
More than 200 kids attending a vacation Bible school festival with locations in Kentucky and Ohio decided to dedicate their lives to Jesus last month.
According to the K-Love network, in June, 216 first-sixth graders welcomed Jesus into their lives while attending 7 Hill Church’s annual “Summer Fest.” 7 Hills Church has campuses in Florence, Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio. Hundreds of children from both campuses are reported to have attended the annual 3-day Summer Fest day-camp last month.
“I’m so proud of our 7 Hills Kids team for putting on our best Summer Fest yet. This past week, hundreds of kids learned who Jesus is and that they are priceless to him,” 7 Hills Church lead pastor Marcus Mecum said, according to K-Love. “After a year marked by isolation and significant loss, children need to be reminded that God knows us, hears us and chooses us each and every day.”
A post shared by the Hills Kids Facebook page noted that this year’s Summer Fest focused on “teaching children they are *priceless* to God!”
The kids also celebrated how God knows, hears and chooses them.
According to CBN News, Summer Fest, which took place this year between June 8-10, also creates a safe space for kids to build friendships, play games and build teamwork skills, all while nourishing their faith and growing their relationship with Christ.
7 Hills Church was founded in 2007 and works to share the Gospel with those living in and around the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas.
According to the church’s website, 7 Hills Church “is committed to the teachings of Christ and obeying all of His commands, and it seeks to bring the Gospel to the world. The Church works together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ.”
