Jesus' Coming Back

Justin Bieber and Chandler Moore Release Inspiring Worship Video

Justin Bieber and Chandler Moore of the Maverick City Music Collective have released a new worship video.

Previously, the two have performed together at concerts in Washington and California.

Their video includes several worship songs, including “Jireh: How He Loves.” Jireh is a word in Genesis where God told Abraham to offer his son Isaac to God. When God stopped Abraham from sacrificing his son and instead asked for a ram, Abraham named the location Jehovah-Jireh.

According to Faithwire, the video was recorded live in Kirkland, Washington, at Churchhome, where Bieber regularly attends church services.

“We pray for your peace right now to fill this room; peace be still,” Bieber said in the video. “I speak peace to every single person’s mind in this room. Any turmoil that you’re facing, any turmoil that you are facing, I bind it in the name of Jesus. Fear is not welcomed here. Shame is not welcomed here.

“Thank you, Jesus. Thank you that we are all alive. Thank you that you are here right now,” he added. “Your presence changes everything … You designed us with a plan and a purpose. We thank you for music.”

Bieber, 27, is vocal about his Christian faith and said he has struggled with fame and his faith. He says his wife, Hailey, and his relationship with God, has helped him find a deeper purpose in his life.

“He is grace,” Bieber said in an interview with GQ Magazine last May. “Every time we mess up, He’s picking us back up every single time. That’s how I view it. And so it’s like, ‘I made a mistake. I won’t dwell in it. I don’t sit in shame. But it actually makes me want to do better,’” Bieber added.

Earlier this year, Bieber released his first-ever gospel album, titled Freedom.

Maverick City Music is set to release its next project, Jubilee: Juneteenth Edition, soon. The album will feature collaborations with P. Diddy, Tori Kelly and Bieber.
