Israeli attacks reported in Gaza

The IDF began attacks at the Gaza Strip around 11:30 PM Saturday, Israeli and Palestinian media reported.

The attacks came after an Israeli Border Police officer was critically injured along with dozens of Palestinians Saturday night during riots along the border fence despite an agreement reached to see humanitarian funds transferred to needy Gazans.
In addition, the IDF tweeted at 11:45 PM Saturday night that it has decided to send reinforcements to the Gaza division.
On Thursday, Hamas and other Palestinian factions urged Palestinians to mark the anniversary of the burning of the pulpit of al-Aqsa by heading there to “defend” it against Israeli “attacks.”
This is a developing story.
