Behind The Scenes Of Donald Trump’s Foreign Policy

On this episode of The Federalist Radio Hour, Gen. Keith Kellogg, former acting National Security Adviser in the Trump administration, joins Culture Editor Emily Jashinsky to discuss what happened behind the scenes of former President Donald Trump’s foreign policy.

“He would use language in his unscripted way of getting a point across and he would make it a common language, common to the people of United States. It wouldn’t be diplomatic language. … There was clarity with the president. It was simple, it was direct. It was hard, and you understood it,” Kellogg said.

Kellogg also said that Trump wasn’t afraid to stand up to the corrupt corporate media and offered insight into the former president’s real stance on Julian Assange.

“I thought President Donald J. Trump was treated unfairly by the press. I think there were people out there in every, for the most part, most major mainstream media who, it became a personal attack, it was an ad hominem attack, it was [not just] an attack on his policies. And he wouldn’t back down, I mean, not at all. And I think he kind of saw that with Julian the same way, like ‘okay, this guy’s not backing down,’” Kellogg said.
