Illegal immigrant Russians nabbed making run at U.S. border:

Three vehicles piled with Russian illegal immigrants made a run at the U.S. border on Sunday, drawing gunfire from a Homeland Security officer.

A Mercedes and a Ford SUV rushed toward the San Ysidro border crossing at a high rate of speed, and a Customs and Border Protection officer who was walking among the cars awaiting entry fired at the Mercedes, the government said.

The bullets didn’t wound anyone, but the Mercedes crashed into the Ford and two people in the Mercedes were injured, CBP said Tuesday.

Officers found 18 Russians among the two vehicles.

At the same time, a Dodge Durango traveling in a different lane and going with the flow of traffic was also stopped and officers found eight more Russian illegal immigrants. —>READ MORE HERE

18 Russian migrants found in vehicles shot at while barreling through California border crossing, CBP says:

Two vehicles that attempted to speed past a California border crossing before an officer opened fire were carrying a total of 18 Russian immigrants including young children.

The “use of force incident” shut down several lanes at the San Ysidro Port of Entry for about eight hours from Sunday night into Monday morning.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection said that shortly after 9:30 p.m., a border officer spotted a Ford SUV and a Mercedes sedan speeding toward the primary inspection area.

The CBP officer, who inspects vehicles before they reach the primary insection, fired four rounds and struck the Mercedes, which then slammed into the SUV after it abruptly stopped.

The gunshots didn’t hit anyone. However, two of the occupants in the Mercedes sedan suffered minor head contusions. —>READ MORE HERE
