Sean Feucht Announces New Book Deal after First Deal Was Allegedly ‘Canceled’ over His Political Views

Worship leader and activist Sean Feucht has signed a new book deal with Regnery Publishing after claiming that HarperCollins, his previous publisher, canceled his books over his political views.

“God is bigger than cancel culture,” Feucht, the founder of the Let Us Worship Movement, told The Christian Post on Wednesday. “I am excited to announce that I have signed a new deal with Regnery that includes better terms than my agreement with Harper Collins.”

Regnery is a politically conservative book publisher based in Washington, D.C. According to their website, Regnery has been “America’s leading publisher of conservative books for over 70 years.”

As Christian Headlines previously reported, last week, Feucht tweeted that HarperCollins, one of the country’s largest book publishers, called him to tell him that they were “canceling” his upcoming book because of his political views.

Despite the worship leader’s claim that both parties “signed an agreement,” a HarperCollins Christian Publishing spokesperson told Christian Headlines, “We did not have a signed contract.”

“The pushback I received over the book last week from cancel culture only validates how needed this message is in our culture today,” Feucht told The Christian Post. “I cannot wait for the message of ‘BOLD’ to be released to the world!”

In the upcoming book, Bold: Moving Forward in Faith Not Fear, Feucht looks back on his nationwide protest tour and breaks down the importance of being bold in one’s faith.

The father of four reportedly dedicated his new book deal to HarperCollins on social media.

“I want to dedicate this moment to HarperCollins. I’m not trolling them. I’m dead serious. I want to thank them because, without their resistance to cancel this book, I would not have this renewed fire to really get this message out,” he said in a video on Instagram. “I think sometimes the resistance we face only proves that what we are carrying is really valuable.”

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Feucht, who ran for Congress as a Republican in 2020 but lost, held large revival meetings across the U.S. despite COVID-19 restrictions on large gatherings.

Feucht’s book is scheduled for release on July 26.
