Nearly 1 in 4 Democratic Voters Believe ‘Men Can Get Pregnant’: New Poll

Nearly one in four Democrats and more than one-third of white, college-educated female Democrats believe “men can get pregnant,” according to a new survey.

The poll by WPA Intelligence found that 22 percent of Democrats and 36 percent of white, college-educated Democratic women agree with the statement that “some men can get pregnant.” That view was shared by 27 percent of self-described liberals and 29 percent of white Democratic voters.

“Overall, few Americans think men can get pregnant,” said Conor Maguire, managing director of WPA Intelligence, according to the Daily Caller. “But with 36% of a core Democratic constituency (college-educated white Democratic women) and one out of five Democrat voters believing this, one can see why Democratic leaders coddle the radical gender theory movement.”

The survey involved interviews with 1,000 registered voters from Aug. 22-25.

In recent months, the Biden administration and the Democratic Party have increasingly embraced the terms “pregnant people” and “birthing people” rather than “pregnant women” as a nod to the transgender movement.

For example, an April proclamation by President Biden said, “the American Rescue Plan gives States the opportunity to provide 12 months of extended postpartum coverage to pregnant people.” That same month, a White House Fact Sheet mentioned the administration’s goal of closing “disparities in maternal care and outcomes for all birthing people.”

Theologian and seminary president Albert Mohler says the term “pregnant people” is an example of society’s rebellion against God.

On one side of the debate, he said, is “reality, truth and for that matter, the entire order of creation and the basis of civilization throughout the entirety of human experience.” On the other side is “the ridiculous ideology of the transgender and gender revolutionaries.” Mohler is president of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky.

“What they’re basically calling for is, ‘Don’t trust what you see. Don’t trust who you are. Don’t trust even your genetic makeup. Don’t trust your doctor two years ago. Just trust us. You are who you say you are. You are who you think you are.’

“… Let’s just rehearse a basic fact of human existence. It still takes a mommy and a daddy to make a baby,” Mohler said on an episode of The Briefing. “And one more fact, daddy’s not given birth to the baby. One thing that will not happen is that a human infant is not going to pass through a male pelvis. The language police may try to force any number of compromises and surrenders upon us. But the one thing they can’t do is make the impossible happen.”
