Nobody Cares About 9/11 Even Though It Changed The World
9/11 is no longer a focal point of political discourse in American society, just as Pearl Harbor is no longer cared about. The Pearl Harbor attacks were the result of Japanese nationalist fanaticism; 9/11 was the result of Islamic fanaticism. Our indifference towards these two attacks reflects our indifference towards the rise of dangerous ideologies:
