Yvette Herrell: Joe Biden Responsible for Crimes Committed Against Americans by Unvetted Afghans:
Crimes committed against American citizens at the hands of Afghans ultimately fall on President Joe Biden after reports allege his administration failed to properly vet thousands, Rep. Yvette Herrell (R-NM) said.
Following the U.S. Armed Forces’ withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021, Biden opened a refugee pipeline that has resettled more than 86,000 Afghans in American communities — many without having to be screened or interviewed in person beforehand.
Aside from Democrats in Washington, DC, Biden’s massive resettlement operation was supported by 49 House and Senate Republicans as well as former Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama. Big businesses and multinational corporations also joined in support.
Most recently, as Breitbart News reported, 35-year-old Shah Mahmood Selab of Afghanistan was charged after allegedly attacking and sexually assaulting a 12-year-old boy in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The case is one of many where Afghans, brought to the U.S. by the Biden administration, have been convicted of crimes against Americans.
The blame, Herrell said in an exclusive interview with SiriusXM Patriot’s Breitbart News Saturday, is with Biden, whose federal agencies failed to properly vet thousands of Afghans, according to two Inspector General reports.
“If it were a different person in the White House, this would never have happened,” Herrell said. “And so … elections do have consequences and sadly the American children and their families are paying for those consequences.” —>READ MORE HERE
With a Border This Unsecure, Why Wouldn’t Biden Welcome Thousands of Unvetted Afghan Refugees?
The Biden administration has failed significantly in bringing Afghan evacuees into the country after the chaotic U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.
According to a new inspector general’s report from the Department of Homeland Security, the administration had no contingency plans to support emergency operations, no proper vetting procedures for refugees, and no standardized policies.
Because of this, the report concludes: “DHS may have admitted or paroled individuals into the United States who pose a risk to national security and the safety of local communities.”
President Joe Biden, who ironically refers to the processing of Afghan refugees as “Operation Allies Welcome,” likely allowed some of the nation’s enemies to infiltrate the U.S.
The lack of intelligence available about Afghan evacuees directly correlates with Biden’s removal of America’s presence from Afghanistan. The withdrawal of U.S. forces resulted in a power vacuum that quickly was filled by the Taliban.
Thousands of Afghans sought to flee their country and the U.S. immediately put them on planes and brought 79,000 of them, inadequately vetted, straight to the interior of our country. All of this was orchestrated, regardless of the fact that a lack of an American footprint in Afghanistan equates to a lack of intelligence and verification on the ground there. —>READ MORE HERE
