Doctor Who Mutilates Kids Goes On Campaign Trail For North Carolina Democrat
North Carolina Democrat and Senate candidate Cheri Beasley’s latest booster is a doctor who performs mutilating surgeries on gender-confused kids.
On Monday, Dr. Jenna Beckham spoke at a press conference hosted by the North Carolina Democratic Party titled, “Doctors & Nurses Against Budd,” expressing her disdain for Beasley’s opponent, Republican congressman and Senate candidate Ted Budd. Budd, who has acknowledged that “life begins at conception” and described himself as “pro-life,” co-sponsored a federal bill protecting life in the womb after 15 weeks.
Claiming that abortion restrictions are “dangerous,” Beckham urged voters to elect Beasley this November “to allow physicians and other healthcare providers to do their jobs” — even when those “jobs” include violently dismembering babies in utero and mutilating minors as Beckham does.
According to the Campaign for Southern Equality’s “Trans-Affirming Health & Legal Service Providers” directory, Beckham “provides gender-affirming surgical services including minimally invasive hysterectomies.” Additionally, the OB-GYN “will assist individuals under the age of 18 with their medical transition” — in other words, provide hormones or mutilative surgeries with irreversible effects to children — and “offers pelvic exams for trans men.”
Beckham is also a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), a nonprofit that engages “in clinical and academic research to develop evidence-based medicine and strive to promote a high quality of care for transsexual, transgender, and gender-nonconforming individuals internationally.” The radical transgender advocacy group expresses the belief that “childhood gender diversity is an expected aspect of general human development” and recommends “that health care professionals provide information to gender diverse children and their families/caregivers as the child approaches puberty about potential gender affirming medical interventions.”
While Beasley has avoided publicly weighing in on transgender surgeries for minors, she favors taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood, which offers trans “services” like cross-sex hormones at more than a third of its facilities. Beasley was also a vehement opponent of a bill that would keep men who claim to be women out of women’s and girls’ restrooms. And she’s clearly the candidate of choice for radical, pro-trans activists.
She also supports wildly radical abortion policies. “Beasley not only wants to eliminate the Hyde Amendment, a protection that keeps American taxpayers from funding abortions,” as The Federalist’s Jordan Boyd explained, “but she also expressed explicit support for a bill that would push unlimited, on-demand abortion in all 50 states.” Her abortion policy stances run contrary to the views of North Carolina voters, as more than half of the state’s voters support a 20-week abortion ban.
If Beasley’s abortion stance isn’t enough to alarm voters in her state, then her support from people like Beckham who perform genital mutilation on minors certainly should be.
