Candace Cameron Bure to Launch Podcast about Faith, Family
Actress and outspoken Christian Candace Cameron Bure recently announced that she will be launching a new podcast next month, where she will discuss various topics, including faith, marriage and parenting.
“I’ve been interviewed a whole lot in my 40-plus years on television,” Bure told Variety in a statement. “I thought it was time to have in-depth conversations about things I really care about – and have lots of fun at the same time!”
The podcast, titled The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast, is set to launch on Nov. 1 as part of a joint effort between the actress and Candy Rock Enterprises. As reported by The Christian Post, the podcast will have multiple seasons and feature guests and discussions on “parenting, marriage, personal growth, healthy living, faith and Christmas.”
Bure hopes her latest venture will “offer listeners guidance and inspiration for all seasons of life.”
Season one of the podcast will be streamed on YouTube and Accessmore. Listeners can also hear it across several audio podcast platforms and on Bure’s website.
Bure, who rose to prominence in the hit 90s sitcom Full House, will star in her first Christmas film under the Great American Family network next month. She joined the network earlier this year after she announced her departure from Hallmark after 14 years of starring in movies.
“I am constantly looking for ways that I can inspire people to live life with purpose. GAC fits my brand perfectly; we share a vision of creating compelling, wholesome content for an audience who wants to watch programming for and with the whole family,” Bure said in a statement as she was joining the Great American Family network.
Bure’s first film with the network, A Christmas… Present, will air on Nov. 27. The holiday film is part of Great American Family’s “Great American Christmas” event, where the network will air 18 original Christmas movies from Oct. 21 through the end of the year. Bure also produced the film Christmas on Candy Cane Lane, which will air on Dec. 3.
Full House and its reboot Fuller House starring Bure can also be watched on the Great American Family channel.
“I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit, even as a teenager. I knew that I loved the entertainment industry, and I did love acting, but I always felt like I wanted more,” Bure told Variety. “I didn’t just want to be an actor, which is a great thing. I wanted more, so I was always positioning myself and trying to learn, as a young adult, what else I could do — the other aspects of the industry, like producing or directing. I’ve loved watching people grow. I love seeing other entrepreneurs pursue their dreams.”
