Winter Jam 2023 Lineup Announced and Catches Steph Curry’s Attention

The annual Winter Jam Christian concert has unveiled its 2023 lineup, with We The Kingdom and Jeremy Camp joining Andy Mineo, Anne Wilson and others in a tour that will reach 40 cities.

Winter Jam was launched more than 20 years ago by NewSong with a unique donation-at-the-door strategy in order to “allow as many people as possible to hear the gospel,” according to a Winter Jam news release.

This year’s admission is $15 – a bargain in an entertainment world of high-priced tickets.

Other artists include Disciple, Austin French and NewSong. The “pre-show” will feature Thrive Worship, Sean Be and Renee. Pastor and author Zane Black will be the lead speaker.

It launches on January 23 in Tampa, Fla., and concludes on March 26 in Spokane, Wash.

“I’m so excited about the lineup this year,” said Eddie Carswell, co-founder of NewSong Ministries and Winter Jam. “I think it’s one of my all-time favorites. I’m excited to have some people we haven’t toured with as much, like We The Kingdom, Anne Wilson and Disciple. Also, it’s always great to be back with long-time friends like Jeremy Camp, Austin French and my ping-pong buddy Andy Mineo. Bring your youth group, your family, your friends; these will be nights you don’t want to miss!”

We The Kingdom won Dove Awards in 2021 for Contemporary Christian Artist of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year (Holy Water).

Wilson won twice at this year’s Dove Awards: New Artist of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year (My Jesus).

Camp has won multiple Dove Awards, including Male Vocalist of the Year (2005). His story was the focus of the 2020 film I Still Believe.

Mineo is a four-time Dove winner.

The 2023 Winter Jam lineup even caught the attention of NBA superstar Steph Curry, a well-known fan of contemporary Christian music. After Mineo announced on his Instagram page that he is performing in Winter Jam, Curry poked fun at the lack of California stops on the tour.

“Congrats bro! Im assuming there’s an underground venue and date in the great state of California somewhere,” Curry joked on Mineo’s Instagram post. “… I’ll check the street poles for the flyer.”
