Ukraine eliminates 630 Russian troops, two tanks, 26 cruise missiles in past day:
Russian forces have lost 115,290 since the beginning of the full scale invasion – 630 of them in the past 24 hours alone, Ukraine’s General Staff reported during their morning update on Jan. 15 on Facebook.
Russia attacked Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2023. Jan. 15 marks the 326th day of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. Invading Russian forces initially tried to advance from the north, east and south, attacking peaceful cities and towns throughout Ukraine. Civilian targets across Ukrainian cities remain one of the main targets of Russian air strikes, while areas along the Russian border are regularly shelled. Since October, the enemy has also been hitting Ukrainian cities with Iranian-made suicide drones.
During this time, the Kremlin has changed the goals of its war in Ukraine several times.
Parts of Zaporizhzhya, Kherson, Luhansk, Donetsk, Mykolayiv, and Kharkiv oblasts are currently occupied by Russian terrorists.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched counter-offensives in the south and east of Ukraine, striking at Russian ammunition depots and military personnel concentrations. They managed to liberate almost the whole of Kharkiv Oblast. —>READ MORE HERE
