Elementary school to host ‘girlx’ sporting event open those who identify ‘as girls,’ ‘with girlhood’:

Cambridge, Massachusetts, is set to host a “sports night for girlx” for “families with girlx (anyone who identifies as a girl or with girlhood) in Kindergarten through 5th grade.”

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, and will allow “girlx to explore new sports, learn about existing teams, and enjoy prizes, pizza, games, and hands-on demonstrations,” according to the city.

According to the flyer, it will offer “girlx” the opportunity to try sports like basketball, cheer, football, lacrosse, and soccer, among others.

The term “girlx” draws from other terms intended to be inclusive, such as “womxn” and “latinx.”

The city, which is also home to liberal, prestigious institutions like Harvard and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), used the term to broaden the scope to include anyone who resonates “with girlhood.”

Girls who participate in sports typically have higher self-esteem, get better grades at school, develop critical thinking skills, and have a larger friend circle, according to the flyer. —>READ MORE HERE

Cambridge Hosting Elementary ‘Girlx’ Sporting Event for Anyone Who Identifies ‘With Girlhood’:

The City of Cambridge, Massachusetts, is raising eyebrows after a city women’s civil rights commission announced a sports event for girls aged 5 to 11 that will include little boys who “identify” as girls.

The Cambridge Commission on the Status of Women (CCSW) is pushing its new “Girlx” sports program it is offering to girls from kindergarten to fifth grades that will also include boys who “identify as a girl or with girlhood.”

The CCSW is a city department established in 1977 supposedly to “promote equity for all women and girls and advocates on their behalf.”

The “girlx” event is organized by the Department of Human Services Programs, Cambridge Commission on the Status of Women, and the office of Cambridge’s Democrat Mayor Sumbul Siddiqui.

Apparently, though, the commission is no longer interested in merely helping women but is now also in the transgender advocacy game. —>READ MORE HERE
