Kamala Harris’ Husband: The Holocaust And Going To A School Board Meeting Are ‘Interconnected’

Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff told South by Southwest conferencegoers on Wednesday that he believes the “hate” that fueled the Holocaust is also found at school board meetings when parents confront leftist administrators.

Emhoff kicked off the conversation by bragging that the Biden administration is “doing great” but quickly shifted the discussion to focus on his public campaign against “hate and antisemitism.”

“I met one woman who was saved in the Holocaust in Germany, settled in Ukraine, and is now a refugee again back in Berlin where she originally left as a Jew in the Holocaust,” Vice President Kamala Harris’ husband told interviewer Symone Sanders-Townsend, who served as Harris’ former senior adviser and chief spokeswoman before leaving for MSNBC in 2021.

Anecdotes like these are important, Emhoff suggested, because “this hate is interconnected” to current political events like school board meetings.

“You see it in the discourse in the country right now. You see it in the divide that we have, just going to school meetings. You see that hate that is out there. We’ve got to step up and speak out and we’ve got to call out the cowards out there,” he continued.

As a frequent visitor of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, Emhoff, who is Jewish and who made conquering antisemitism his Second Gent project, should know that “Holocaust Analogies Are Dangerous.

Yet, the man who spent Holocaust Remembrance Day this year at Auschwitz death camp in Poland, where he saw “children’s shoes and human hair stripped from people before they were killed in the Nazi German camp,” still had the gall to compare the Holocaust’s atrocities to accountability for the ideologues running taxpayer-funded schools.

The Biden administration may want to smear and prosecute concerned parents as domestic terrorists, but it doesn’t take an antisemitism expert to know that speaking up at school board meetings because children face graphic racial and sexual indoctrination daily is simply not comparable to the world’s most infamous genocide.

Neither is the 2021 Capitol riot, or restrictions on inappropriate content in taxpayer-funded libraries in states like Florida and Texas. Yet, moments after his Holocaust comments, Emhoff lamented that people are not speaking out enough about Americans “trying to overthrow the government” or “trying to ban books.”
